Bada Bean Bada Booze

Happy to see a local coffee shop expanding! Bada Bean's first location is in Italian Village and I've been many times and really love it. When I learned of this Harrison West location opening up, it took me a while to get there but I'm so happy I eventually did. The space inside is very sleek and sexy with moody lighting and a darker color palette than what I'm used to at a coffee shop. While I've never visited for the booze I can totally picture the vibe. The staff was friendly and were quick to warm up my muffin and prepare my vanilla latte. I also really appreciate that they have a water station so I can grab that on my own. My latte was absolutely delicious. Now that I think of it, I wish I had one right now. My muffin on the other hand was not great. Not sure if they are in house or made by another biz but I'll skip on that the next time around. I'll add in that the wifi was strong and I had no issues with it while I was there. There was a good variety of seating and they had plenty of outlets for me to charge up my devices while I was there. All in all, they have a good thing going!

Bada Bean Bada Booze is the perfect addition to the Harrison West area. Coffee shop by day, cocktail bar by night. This swanky spot is located in the first floor of Founders apartment complex right off of 5th Ave and Perry St. It opened the first week of October and is the sister store of the location in Italian Village.They have plenty of seating options, including a small outdoor patio and an upstairs area with couches, reading chairs, and three individual cubbies, to go along with the typical seating in the bar area.In addition, they have one of the better happy hours in Columbus, with 50% off all house cocktails, drafts and wine from 4-7pm Monday through Friday. The kitchen is still a work in progress, but currently they offer a handful of snacks.We stopped in for happy hour and had a great time. We tried a variety of their special cocktails including the 'billionaire', 'out of fashion', 'flannel shirt' and 'beach blues'.We favored the billionaire and out of fashion -- both bourbon inspired cocktails. The flannel shirt was pretty good but had an intense smokey flavor, reminding me of a bonfire. The beach blues was definitely tropical with the coconut and tiki bitters.Overall, Bada Bean Bada Booze is a phenomenal concept and I look forward to coming here often whether during the day for a coffee pick me up or in the evening for a wind down cocktail.

Great location, super nice staff. Coffee/tea in the AM & booze in the PM. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and if you don't drink, they have a few mockstails as well!

Very cool spot. Parking is easy in the garage within the complex. Staff super nice. I like their teas, and they'll refill your mug with hot water if u ask. Theres also a water spout out to serve yourself which is convenient. This location appears to attract a relatively large osu student demographic along with "remote" workers.Notably it also has an upstairs area with couches, beanbag chairs, and a few notch-in-the-wall areas for solo semi-private work. (I didn't take a picture of the upstairs)I've not ventured into it, but they seem to have some community events that seem fun like trivia night. I've hardly been to a bar in my life but I'd imagine Bada is a neat bar spot in the evenings. There are a few restrooms which are all spacious and clean which makes it easy to change into shorts and head down the road to Rewild yoga or orange theory at the end of the day or there's even a gym attached to Bada that you can pay to use.

Came to Bada bean Bada booze to check out the new cocktail bar with friends, but messed up on locations and went to the wrong one. Had a coffee at that one before making my way to the correct location. It's a little hidden but found the parking garage with TONS of available spots, so was pleased with that. While the location on 1st felt more like a coffee house vibe for me, this one does feel more like a swankier cocktail bar. Lots of options with every type of liquor, and was super excited that there was a great happy hour with half off cocktails. Definitely want to come back and try more, the mezcal drink I got (the Oaxacan highball) wasn't bad, but not my favorite either, my friend got the other mezcal option (dark passenger) and hers was better. Service was fine, not exceptional, but not bad either.

I've only been here for cocktails, which were good but PLEASE do something about the chairs out on the patio. They are SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Otherwise the service was great and super friendly.

Cute coffee shop with a lot of seating inside. I have been several times. They have great vanilla lattes and their smoothies are also good. Only four stars because they are on the pricier side. The smoothie was $10.

My favorite coffee shop in town! Such a lovely place to sit and do work while enjoying yummy drinks. The staff are fun and make good alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages. Highly recommend their Bloody Mary and matcha latte which are my go to items.

This is second and newer location of Bada Bean Bada Booze. It's obviously very similar if not identical to the location in Italian Village. I am not sure about the parking situation though. It's a little unclear where you can park. It's located on 5th Ave at the bottom of an apartment building next to a gym. It's also across from OSU Medical Center. 5/5 stars for good coffee drinks and great atmosphere. Good place to study or meet up with someone. No complaints about service.

Cool place! Love the location, great addition to harrison west. Went for cocktails -- drinks were great, bartenders were nice, vibe was good :)
