Best coffee ever! We have had to switch to decaf and half-caf and Backroom decaf is hands-down the best decaf coffee I have ever tasted. I also like Backroom Biker's Blend and Breakfast Blend to mix with the decaf for my morning coffee. I have been purchasing at Hills Market for the past several years but recently I found their website online and that is so much more convenient that I buy it six bags at a time and have it shipped. I found my new coffee dealer, Backroom Coffee Roasters. I ordered three different coffees, Columbian, The Horse, and Bikers Blend. I am very pleased. I have been drinking small batch roasted coffee since I found the Coffee Connection in 1975 in Harvard Square. The coffee is well roasted and fresh. I first tried their Biker Blend at the Columbus Coffee Fest a couple years ago, and I have been ordering it ever since. Sometimes I order the Dark Horse blend, as I love a dark roast, but my favorite is definitely the Biker Blend! It has a lovely bold flavor. Their customer service is also outstanding, and my orders always ship very quickly.

My favorite local micro roaster at this time in the expanding market. The Breakfast Blend beans are oily dark roasted awesomeness that make a cup of coffee with wonderful aroma, flavour and mouth feel. Backroom Roasters is my personal 2012 find of the year! For a wonderful cuppa of coffee nothing beats the freshly locally roasted and blended coffee beans, burr ground at home and french pressed. Truly coffee lovers Nirvana and thankful I can score them at the Hills Market saving me the road trip to UA.

Backroom Coffee Roasters is wonderful.The coffee is fresh and flavorful. I love the Breakfast Blend also the Columbian is good when they have it. They will grind it for you if you need. Whole bean is the way to go. Your coffee will always taste great if you immediately grind before you brew. Most of the staff at the Trek store are coffee heads and are super nice and helpful. Get some beans and give it a go. You'll love it...

Not gonna lie, I'm a coffee snob. I love a good quality coffee. So when I had the opportunity to go on a tour and check this place out, I was on board. Their Sulawesi is one of my favorite coffees pretty much ever. The Biker Blend is pretty darn tasty too (though darker than I could drink on a regular basis). I'm impressed by their set up and how they got started and I look forward to more things to come.

Due to some health crap, i've made the devastating switch to decaf. Hands DOWN, Backroom decaf coffee beans are the best i have ever had...ever. No metallic taste that most decaf brews carry and a robust scent and flavor, the beans are well worth the cost ($10 and some change for a pound of whole beans).

I usually buy this coffee bagged at Fresh Market to give people as a local gift. The Biker Blend is absolutely delicious and a crowd pleaser!

This is my favorite coffee in Columbus. I've been a customer since reading about them in one of the Columbus magazines. I've also turned a lot of friends into fans and now they won't buy anything but BCR. I've only ordered from their website, but they ship out fast and the coffee is always fresh. Biker Blend is fantastic. I just ordered and brewed some of the Sulawesi and it was great.
