Seen this place had only 4 stars but still wanted to try it and we are so glad we did. Service was very good even with the amount of people for one bar tender. Trish did an awesome job taking care of us. She was friendly attentive and didn't miss a beat when it came to customer service! She deserves a raise you want to keep people like her!!! The place was a clean bar could use a little paint here and there but not too bad and they have a second bar that opens at 6 pm. I had a mushroom burger with fresh cut fries and it came to the table piping hot as well as the fries so didn't sit in window long enough it was the best mushroom burger I have ever eaten. My wife had the Philly steak with homemade chips which was also awesome. We will definitely return again. Awesome job Trish thanks for the hospitality!!

I ordered the Thursday Lasagna special to go. Upon arriving home I opened the container up. They had some fresh mozzarella on top and it looked ok. I tried to cut it with my fork and couldn't do it. This thing was charred black on the bottom and the top. They used the mozzarella to hide this. It was terrible. The side salad was ok, the single piece of bread turned into garlic toast was skimpy. Never again. Stick to MVP's for lasagna.

I have always had great service. Large portions of food. Was good pricing for everything. Played a few games of pool, had some food . Was very pleased ! Best breakfast I have had in a long time. Never leave hungry.

Been here a couple times recently. The first time was by accident after making a reservation at the roach hotel behind it that is NOT affiliated with the bar/restaurant. Do not and I repeat DO NOT go anywhere near the hotel. However, the bar is clean and the staff friendly and I plan to go back soon. Monday night is all-you-can-eat spaghetti and I was pretty happy with the homemade sauce. No need to order any more than one plate. It's not a fancy Italian restaurant and they don't claim to be. Prices reasonable and something seems to be going on every night.

Okay, stopped in while visiting family in the area. If you want anything other than beer or booze and soda you will be disappointed! Nothing on hand to make basic cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan! They did have a menu but we did not order any food. The bartender was friendly. They had a TouchTunes jukebox that did not offer fast play. Had a couple of beers and departed!

Im a bermudian that has been all over the world and been to plenty of different bars! The back room has the best chill out setting around it's a great double bar with something going on every night. The price is always right and the service is by far the best!!!! I love this place and will come here every time I'm around!! Big up!!

I would give the Back Room a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. From what I've heard, the bar *used* to have a very mixed reputation, especially being so close to the Mansfield Inn next door (which is not a nice motel). But since my buddy and I were holed up in the "Inn" next door for a work trip, we decided to check the Back Room out. I'm glad we did.We met the new owners, they are very nice. The atmosphere in the bar is about the same as any other bar in Ohio I've been to, but the facilities are great. Clean bathrooms, dart boards, a couple of pool tables, a nice jukebox, and a very nice bar. They had karaoke there one night that we stayed, and bands playing in the back section of the bar. They have a few TVs, had sports games on. The prices were very good.They have a nice patio, plenty of parking, and a good menu of food to boot. All in all, I don't know if we'll have the pleasure of going back anytime soon as it's in Ohio (we were there for work) and it's way out on a highway, but if I was back in the Akron/Canton/Mansfield area again, I would definitely go back for a drink here!

Husband had the fish dinner last night with hand-cut fries and homemade coleslaw and it was delicious. I had the special which was homemade potato soup and grilled cheese and it hit the spot. The service is great and we also love going there for breakfast. It's family friendly and I take my grandkids all the time!
