Avalanche Pizza

We ordered online and delivery to our hotel was super fast. Most of it got eaten before I could get my camera out. The appetizer "the Veggie Lasagna w/ Béchamel" was absolutely delicious. I could have made a whole meal out of that. The wings were tasty but a I personally prefer them a bit more crispy. We also got a "Northface Salad" and it was very fresh and plentiful. Not that bagged lettuce some places dish out. The pizza was good as well and I would definitely feel comfortable recommending this place.

Awesome customer service when calling in to place an order for delivery to our hotel. Love that they have gluten free options. The Italian sandwich was good but a lot of gluten free bread. The kids loved the chicken parm they probably could have split one . I hate wasting food. Hubby got the meat lovers. He said it was good but not the best thing he'd ever had .

Pizza was good. Placed order in person, we left and came back because they told us 35-40 minutes. When we got back 40 minutes later to pick it up, they hadn't even started it yet.

They're always amazing at avalanche. The pizza is delicious, they have vegan options which is hard to come by in a small town, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with avalanche.

The pizza was different than your regular pizza and it was delicious. The jalapeño brews great as well.

Good pizza. Loved the cheesy bread with added bacon. Quick and fast will definitely order again if I'm visiting.

Top quality pizza that is delicious every time. We drive into Athens every time we're in the area just for the treat!! Hand made with the best ingredients and love!!

We ordered four different thin crust speciality pizzas. All were bland and the crust was very gluteny for a thin crust. For $20 for a 14" pizza and we get bland and stale? I feel sorry for the students at OU.

To say we were disappointed with our food from here is an understatement. The chicken on our BBQ chicken was dried out and over cooked, the crust on the Margherita pizza was also not the type of crust we ordered. I stood and watched them piece together people's orders by pulling items from the orders of those waiting to be picked up. We spent a good chunk of money on dinner to only have to come home and cook dinner to have something to eat. Only giving 2 stars because the staff were otherwise nice and had good communication on wait times.

I'm giving them 3 stars just because I've had them play me twice now in a years time. Don't get me wrong the pizza is good. The customer service on the other hand (not with all just some of the employees) is sh*t! Honestly I always support local businesses but not sure I can stand behind this one anymore. Monday I started calling at 10:15 to make an order no answer just voice message. Tried again 10:20 same. I was on my way home from work so I just swung by. Man I walked in and the place was immaculate, not a crumb anywhere so I knew right then and there I was not getting food from them. I asked the guy what time do you close twice and he gave me the run around 'around this time' I said well what time is that? Finally I said dude just level with me you close at 11 but you've already got everything shut down so that's that right?? I work in food service I get it but closing up 40 mins ahead of time is just pushing it. As I was walking out I could tell he knew he screwed up cause he tried to offer to make something. I mean at this point where I have to hustle out of you what time you close it's too late. I'm pissed already why would I want to give you my money??? The first time this happened the kid actually locked the door while my hand was on the handle to open it! Yeah messed up right. I thought I was trippin! But he did, locked it! Balls of steel! So for these reasons sadly I will no longer be getting their pizza. Sucks but fool me once.The saddest part is that the owners are hiring people who don't give a sh*t about their reputation they're just there to collect a paycheck and while I'm sure my one review won't hurt them eventually it'll add up! Get your orders in an hour early folks!!
