Asian Gourmet & Sushi Bar

This place is an underrated gem! True it's not in the most convenient of locations, but you can pop into this place on a Saturday night with no reservation and crush some delicious sushi, sake, and so much more :)I always loved the layout of this place. A real modern design with a communal vibe eventhough you have your table to you and your guests. The maki rolls are beautiful and delicious. The Sake flight was excellent with a good range of flavors. And the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao are on the regularly scheduled program. Not to mention that the staff are always a delight. I don't go here enough :)

I've seen many of my trusted Yelpers checking in here and have always been curious from reading their positive reviews, so I got a chance to mark it in my calendar for lunch. Plans got changed last minute, so I had to get take-out. The Asian lady running front of house was polite and very efficient - I wouldn't be surprised if she was the/part owner? Their paper to-go lunch menu was nicely organized with good descriptions, just doesn't have pictures. Monday-Wednesday from 12-3 pm, there sushi rolls are BOGO half off. I got the Nutty Almond and Crunchy Ringo. Loved the fried coconut on top of the Nutty Almond. Good roll, would have liked to taste more internal components instead of the prominent sauce flavors. Future visits, I'll ask for sauces on the side.The Crunchy Ringo was a plump roll, and really tasty. This one also came with a wasabi mayo sauce but it was lighter - in the future I'll get that on the side - and actually pretty tasty. Jammed pack full of components, loved the protein meets veggies meets fruit! Would definitely get this again. There several things that sounded good from their menu, plenty to bring me back. This place definitely has a solid customer base; bet this place gets full in the evenings, especially weekend nights. I'll be back!

Went for girls dinner and we were all very pleased. I ordered Mala green beans and added chicken. Portion was huge! Loads of green beans which were crunchy and cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was good and the chairs comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.

I had eaten here a few ago with a Friend and thought it was good so when another Friend I was meeting for lunch on the area wanted Chinese we met up at Asian Gourmet. We were quickly greeted by the hostess and seated. Our waiter came as soon as we were seated. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. We ordered Hot and Sour soup. It had a great balance of heat with the sour. Our meals came timed perfectly after we finished our soups. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan and my Friend had Pepper Steak. We both had Fried Rice. The meals were hot with generous portions and delicious! I've already made plans to return.

I'm on a mission to find some of the best Pad Thai in Columbus...Asian Gourmet's Pad Thai is very good. It has a good balance of sweet, salty, and savory. The noodles were definitely cooked al dente, so there was a good chew to them. Add to that, there was a good balance of noodles, vegetables, and protein. I'd say it was one of the better versions I've had, and I would definitely get this again.I also love a good Hot and Sour Soup, and this restaurant's version is pretty solid. It was hearty and savory with a slight vinegary lean towards the tangy side.Good service, good food, and an impressive price vs. portion make this place worth returning to. I'd go back again.

Wanted something not sweet and the server, who was very helpful, recommended the Kim Chi rice! I had never had that! It was surprisingly very good! My only complaint being that the egg on top was way too done for my taste... I could have almost skipped the expensive hot tea (which wasn't great) and the soup as it was a lot of food...Will definitely return!

We go here all the time! My favorite is the buckeye roll. My husband gets sushi and an entree dish. Everything is good.

I called to place an order for pick up. When my husband picked it up he did not check to see if it was correct. I called back to get them to make us the right dish. I was told they would remake it. Thinking it was their mistake so it would be free... nope they made US pay for it. Even though it was THEIR mistake. Stay as FAR away from this place as possible. The people are who make the restaurant. Clearly this place is full of egotistical employees and managers!
