We've been coming to aqua tots for over a year. The teacher are friendly and great with the kids. They teach the fundamentals well but their pool is sooo small it's hard for the little ones to get more than 5 strokes in from one side of the pool to another. That's difficult to build muscle memory with such short durations.I'd say it's ok but the Golden school in southern Westerville is definitely a notch up in teaching.

We went today to see our granddaughter in her swim class! The facility was awesome and all the children ( and parents) seemed to be having fun while learning safety skills and swimming lessons! Looked like perfect teacher ratio for children as well.

Cannot wait to start my 9 month old at AquaTots. After inquiring online, I received a fast & friendly reply via phone call, plus a follow up call to. When I visited the facility today to take a look & schedule sessions, Katie at the front desk was so pleasant, polite and attentive to all my questions. Super clean waiting area & front desk too.

Both my children have been attending swim lessons here for the past 2 years. The staff is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They make sure my kiddos feel safe and have taught them so much. We will continue to come here because of the staff, clean facility and most importantly the fun my children have while learning how to swim!

My daughter (age 3) absolutely loves her swim lessons at Aqua-Tots. She was quite fearful of going under water prior to her lessons but her teacher helped ease her fears and I have seen such an improved confidence. The school is really well taken care of and I appreciate the extra amenities (detangler, blow dryer, hair elastics.) I would highly recommend!

If your goal is to have a place to take your child to the pool on a regular basis then this is the place. However, of you want them to learn swimming, then this is definitely not the place. The so called "instructors" are bunch of teenagers who provide NO instructions to children. They repeat the same motion week after week but not once do they interact with the child or explain how to do the motion correctly. The business model is based on ongoing membership and it is in their best interest to keep you paying monthly membership fees rather than teaching your child to swim.

We chose Aquatots because of the proximity to our house and because it's a little bit cheaper than some of the other lessons in the area. I'm a former lifeguard and swim lessons instructor- I've taught at almost every program in Central Ohio and I can say that there are multiple programs that are far better than this one. I did both the class in the water with my two year old and a beginner class for my four year old. The teacher in the parent/child class does literally nothing. There are no recommendations on how to coax a child onto their back or how to soothe a nervous child in the water, hardly any interaction between the teacher and the children, there are no skills being demonstrated- it's just 30 minutes of playing with my two year old while a teenager who clearly has no idea what they're doing watches. My four year old's class seems similar- I have yet to see her attempt to float independently, push off the wall, do any kind of stroking- literally all I see her do is jump in and sit on the side. It's a total waste of time and money. In the four months we've been at the swim school, we've had three separate lessons outright cancelled, usually the morning of classes. I was informed there was no one to sub, however today when my 2 year old's class was cancelled, there were two deck supervisors, a manager, and my daughter's class- which got out TEN MINUTES EARLY- had two instructors. In other places I've worked with a similar set up to Aquatots, a manager gets in the water, a front desk person- there's always someone to get in. Never, in the fifteen years I've taught swim lessons, have I seen classes cancelled because there's no one available. I'm actually kind of stunned at how bad this experience has been. We sacrificed quality for proximity and will not be doing that again in the future. We're only staying through August because we've been billed for the month already and we have about 4 make-ups left on our account. Otherwise, we would have already withdrawn.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The only thing that is nice about this school is its location. There are a ton of things that the parents could do if they need to drop their kid off and go run errands. However, the customer service that I have experienced from the owners of this particular school is horrific. They don't seem to treat their employees correctly and have terrible customer service. I am appalled that they have continued to raise their prices and demand more from the customers. I would highly recommend you find another swim school as this one is way to expensive and the owners do not deserve your money.
