Honestly this place is HORRIBLE! My two children moved in here as roommatesAnd had nothing but problems from day one. The maintenance is a joke and nothing ever got fixed. The walls are paper thin and they could hear everything from all the apartments around them. And when you give a 30 day notice that you are moving they "forget" you did so and put you on month to month at triple the cost! Haha These apartments aren't worth the amount they paid for a one year lease. Cheap appliances, cheap blinds, and everything broke! Had to call corporate office to get anything accomplished because everyone who works in the office is clueless. Then, after they moved out they paid "damages" and received a letter saying they were being turned into credit for non payment! Get your shit together Annhurst! You are confused, horrible people and your office staff sucks!!!BTW the only person to give this a good rating works there!! Ha good try Katie!

My first apartment. And one I wouldn't wish my worst enemy lived in. Over priced, outdated, dark, over grown and poorly ran. Management is terrible and it seems like they intentionally try to scam you out of your money. I put down a $250 security deposit that as stated in my lease agreement would be returned when keys were turned in. When I DID turn in my keys (adding that I left the place in better condition than when it was when I moved in) the new management said the security deposit was non-refundable. Really a shame considering the location. Under the right management this place could be a great place to live. Please for the love of God and all that is good on this earth; stay away from this place. If you don't already plan on avoiding this place; you're sure to step in dog poop every once in awhile. You'll also probably live next to a drug dealer who leaves death threats on the door.

Annhurst Apartment Bait & Switch Craiglist ads for Studio and 1 bedroom apartments. Offering $399 / $499 with $300 non application fee waived. However, I called and they said water went up and prices are $30 higher. However, their fake advertisements do NOT suggest this adjustment.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I signed a holding agreement for an apartment on April 26th to be able to move in June 10th to 5069 Clancy Ct. I had some suspicions as there were multiple eviction notices on the door, but I was promised I would be able to view the apartment in late May. That date was moved back over and over until suddenly it wouldn't be able to be viewed till the day of. When I arrived at the office to move in I had the lease pushed at me to sign, but LUCKILY refused till I could view it. Upon opening the door our eyes were watering over the smell fuming from the apartment. Imagine a giant cat litterbox covered in mold that got left in the sun for weeks. The carpet had not been replaced as promised, the flooring was coming up in the kitchen, and there were rust stains all over the bathroom.I went back to the leasing office and Katie said there was nothing she could do until the property manager came in the next morning. She said she would have her call first thing in the morning. I waited the next day till 1 p.m. and still hadn't received a call so I went into the office where I was met with aggression and unprofessionalism by Amara the property manager. She was rude, interrupting me and said she did a walk through and saw nothing wrong with the apartment. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere! They are just in it for keeping the holding deposits/application fees. I talked to a couple who are living there and they said their place still stinks even after they "Ozoned" it. I am glad I was able to get out before I was trapped in. Do not waste your time here. There are plenty of other apartments that are 100X nicer. They might appear to be more expensive online, but with Annhurst's hidden $51/month trash/sewer fee they are very similar!

Avoid this place like the plague. Aside from the drug deals going on, the vandalism to vehicles in their parking area, the fights outside your door, the old musty smell, they will charge you cleaning fees when you move out to clean your stove and refrigerator that were filthy when you moved in. Also instead of contacting you with the cleaning bill, they will simply turn your name in to a collection agency.

LOATHE the apartments. READ THIS. Do not ignore. You'll be happy later. Parking- If you have a flat tire- they're very quick on towing your car at your expense. Yet- I wonder if the many giant pot holes all around parking lots have anything to do with all the flat tires I've gotten since I've moved in. Never in my life have I had so many busted tires, again at my expense. I've not had issues with finding a spot, although with so many people moving all the time, that could explain it.Appliances- No gas but this central air- is just a huge wall unit with a vent into the bedroom. Its so old!! There isn't a way to keep a constant temperature, its a high-low setting turn nob. No, that's not annoying at all! (not) Makes the electric bill outrageous. The kitchen appliances, maybe replaced in the last decade? I think the dishwasher is somewhat newer, but this oven looks like its from the 70's. Here's a fun fact: Every day my husband and I get to turn on our water heater, only for about a year now. Every time we mention it- its wrote down on a post it. But nothing ever has come from that. I will not allow anyone in my place if I'm not home- but yet, still not one attempt to fix it. Maintenance did show us how to turn it on though. "Make sure you turn off the breaker or you could go threw the wall" is the remark that stuck with me. That's something you want to deal with daily. Is this even legal?Mold- When we moved in, there was always this low, odd water sound in the restroom, being it was a new place for us, we just thought it was a natural nose for these apartments, like it was the toilet running or something. You can tell the units are quite old and all places have noises you get used to. Well, fast forward over a year . I awake, and find water in my restroom cabinet, all over the sink. I start looking around, the walls are dripping. I follow it around, lots of wet walls. I glance at the circuit breaker box and its got water all around the edges, I carefully open, its full of water. I call maintenance. When the man gets here (he was quick) He opens up the wall panel and says there are two burst pipes. He does a quick fix (said "I'm just going to do a temporary fix until I get more supplies to finish it") then leaves. Which no other means of repair had been made since. I noticed that weird water noise is gone. That means for as long as we've lived here and before there was a burst pipe leaking. (BTW, all the water bills are split between each apartment building in the complex, basically we all share a bill, so all my neighbors in my one building- we have all been paying for water, that was leaking out. I wonder how much that has cost everyone? Lets not forget how much water has been wasted) Now, we have incredible amounts of mold. Its coming out of the wallpaper in the restroom and in the laundry room. We called maintenance, he sprayed bleach water on it (the visible areas on the out facing side of the wall) I could have done that! I want to know about the amounts of mold on the inside of the walls where the water was leaking so badly for so long. I talked to the water company, if the water has been leaking for that long, the amount of mold must be extensive! I have requested a mold expert to test here, the look I got from the manager told me that wasn't going to happen courtesy of them. I have had migraines & been sick a lot since I moved in here. I can't pinpoint the cause but I have suspicions of why! When this was brought up again for, I can't remember how many times before, we were informed IF there was mold found- and to the extent where we would have to be relocated, we would have to pay for it! Because we didn't mark a burst pipe inside the walls on our move in sheet!!! I don't have x-ray vision. Again though, no attempt to address that issue either. Misc Cons: Everything falls apart within like the first couple months we found. Closet doors, towel bars, the fan - blade actually flew off and hit me on the head. (Freak occurrence I know) The windows are odd, there is always water condensation and its rusts a lot around the windows. It always feels stuffy. In the middle of winter you will find yourself opening the windows. Price- LMAO! For 40 year old apartments? 400ish square feet? WOW! Do yourself a favor, keep looking for anywhere else, there are tons of places in Gahanna that would be 1000x's better. You don't want to trade places with us. Again, I do love the location- just detest everything else!July Update:So, I guess the office here lost our lease!! How awesome is that? We are out of here! Already started looking. We basically only speak with the apartment managers BOSS because the incompetence from the office here just doesn't seem to end. All this place does for the tenants is con you into moving in, then supply a tiny box that falls apart around you to live in. It's only got worse.....
