I recently heard that Meister's and Ange's were owned by the same family. I've always enjoyed Meister's, so I thought I'd support a small business closer to home. I ordered for pick up 30 minutes later. I arrived at about 35 minutes. The second I walked in I could tell the vibe was off. A frazzled lady met me at the counter. I told her I was picking up my order. She started frantically looking around. Mine was the only food on the rack. She gave me my pizza and I politely reminded her that I also had breadsticks. She starts frantically looking for them. Turns out they were in a box on the counter right in front of her. Then she said they were cold and she'd make fresh ones so she turned to the kitchen full of kids who looked traumatized. Two other gentlemen were standing at the front. One asked the other if the breadsticks were cold. The second man opened the box and touched the breadsticks with his bare hand and shrugged. The lady immediately returned and tossed the same box of breadsticks at me and told me I could "heat them up myself." I walked out in shock. I know I should have asked for new breadsticks, but I didn't want to spend another second there. I had already given a 20% tip. I'll never be back.

I'm surprised the reviews aren't better for Ange's pizza but I'm glad we took a chance regardless. We live right down the road so we ordered pick up and our order was made quickly, correct, and prompt. The pizza is thin crust with a slightly sweet sauce. I wouldn't say it's the best I have ever had but it's definitely good pizza and we will be adding it in to the rotation since the prices are good and it's so close by. They also have pastas, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. We got the mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders which were also really good. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Tried for the first time last night. I am not sure how they've been in business since the late 50's because it was not good. Pizza was lukewarm and for $25 was severely lacking in toppings. Would rather cook a frozen pizza at home.

Not a fan of pizza's from a conveyor system but they have their act together with theirs.The pizza comes out medium crisp, never burned and has a golden cheese topping. The sauce seems like home made, I never asked, but it has a touch of sweetness and acid to it. Not over powering with spices and seasoning. Their Italian subs have a golden crust to them and are not crunchy hard. The double meat Italian sub is a true DOUBLE MEAT. Keep it up Ange's. You are an icon in the Powell area. I suggest going there and order. Go next door for a beer or 2 and your pizza will be piping hot and ready to go.I put my pizza in the trunk so I don't eat it all before getting home. It's that good.

I've heard about Ange's many times before but never had a chance to try them. I finally was in the area of an Anges and decided that I was going to try them once and for all. I used their online ordering system to order an extra large pepperoni, extra sauce and sausage. It worked well and I liked that there was no extra charge for more sauce.. I also got pie cut because I do not like squares and this was easy to do with their online ordering system. I was a bit late finding the place but when I did finally reach it my pizza was still hot and all ready to go. The lady at the front desk was friendly and after a quick checkout I was on my way. I was taking the pizza home to eat but wanted to taste it while it was still hot. So I opened up the box and wow, the pizza looked fantastic! The pepperoni was plentiful along with the sausage and many of the pepperonis were nice and crispy. Even though I didn't order any extra cheese the cheese was plentiful and looked fantastic.So one bite and that would be it. Well that was the plan. One bit turned into two and before I knew it I had eaten a whole slice. And the slices, since I had selected pie cut, were huge slices ala New York style. Well I was blown away by how great it was. The crust reminded me a bit of Masseys (in fact the whole pizza reminded my wife of Masseys) but the quality was superior and they didn't have a ton of corn dusting on it like Masseys does. The sausage was really quality, it was a bit spicy but not too much so. And the sauce was really tangy and delicious. I managed to get the rest of the pizza home and I ate two more huge slices. No regrets at all about trying it, in fact this pizza place has become my new obsession. My wife loved it as well but she compared it to Masseys. This pizza is worlds better than Masseys. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for some of the best pizza you will find in Columbus. Just look at the picture of my pizza and try not to drool.P.S. This pizza reheats really well too...this entire huge pizza was gone within a day. If that doesn't explain how much I loved it then nothing will!!!

Ange's used to be a family favorite, but we hadn't had it in a while. We decided to re-visit for our Sunday pizza night today. When we opened our food, we found that all of our apps had been so over-cooked, they weren't even recognizable. Shameful that someone felt it was appropriate to send these out the door. We most certainly will not be back. Carluccis's will remain our go-to.
