(1 star for the club house) Unless you want to age yourself 10 years and turn into a Karen save yourself the trouble and don't live here. What you can expect of this complex: -your car will be broken into. **good news: they have cameras **bad news: can't see footage yourself. File a police report. Wait a month. Message them everyday and eventually they'll tell you they "didn't see anything on tapes".. sure, Jan -your neighbors will be loud- like up from 6am till midnight - gonna fall through your ceiling- heard of elephants - 12 hour bowling league- daily screaming matches- vacuum 4 times a day loud. Also they may threaten your guests if you're lucky enough to live under a gem like mine ** tip: don't bother with the noise complaints they don't issue any fines to non complaint tenets. Just get yourself some melatonin and ear plugs now.. you're gonna need them if you want a decent nights sleep & don't work from home if you have to talk on the phone your customers and coworkers will hear them as well. -you will be charged a $15 trash fee that goes to... who knows. Gotta take your trash to the one trash compactor at the back of the complex that is always broken where the trash piles up all the way to the bottom of the ramp. Recycling is across the street at the fire department & bulk is a $35 fee to use the key. -maintenance will enter your apartment without permission and the office will refuse to acknowledge any questions about it (liability issues I'm sure- don't answer the question & it never happened ) also- MOLD I have told every friend, family member & stranger I have come in contact with to avoid this place like the plague & if the above complaints haven't deterred you from living here then.... Good luck

Great so far! The apartments are nice, the staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is nicer then most apartment gyms and parking is always open and available. The rent is a little expensive but for what you get it's not bad.

Apartments are nice. However, with high staff turnover and poor training the staff have no idea what is going on and tell their residents incorrect information daily. When you call or email the office no one ever answers, returns your calls or emails. Management is very hostile, confrontational, and abrasive when approached with issues. We asked if we could pay ahead because we were going to be out of town on the 1st of the month. They said yes and gave instruction. The manager cashed the check mid month, right after our check from that month was cashed... even though the check was dated the first of the next month. We were upset, but thank god we make enough to not have checks bounce from having two months rent come out at once. So we approached the manager who then continued to blame us for this, even though we followed her instructions written via email on how to submit the early check.Mind you, we did this because the month prior we were out of town, tried calling and calling. We finally got ahold of someone who said if we pay Monday we would not be penalized since it was our first time being late and the 1st was over the weekend. This apparently was a lie and we had to argue with management about the fee and incorrect information (again). The gym is nice... that is if the staff tell you the correct code to get in (I'm on my 3rd code which apparently was always mine to the gym, again no one knows what is going on).The free coffee is a great perk... too bad it's in the locked area of the building that is only open during operating hours, long after most people are already at work or have started there day on the weekends, oh and if you are able to get in it's usually broken. Maintenance responds quickly, but unfortunately never addresses all the issues and only half repairs them - our shower door was been broken since move in and wasn't fixed, now since water has been leaking for months we put in another order because mold has formed and the wall is damaged. Their fix to all of this was "close the door", not fixing the door hinge, mold, or wall. These issues don't even include all of problems we had with the previous management when we first moved in (incorrect apartment and floor, water bill not transferred properly, rude management, and more). We had such high hopes when we moved in. It has been a very disappointing experience.

Overall, Andover is a nice place to live. I moved there in the summer of 2015 and haven't left for a reason: it's clean, it's safe, it's well lit and the units are nice. Some pros and cons for your consideration:Pros: As other residents have said, the community amenities are phenomenal. A great pool, fire pit, fitness center, tanning, free printing, and my personal favorite, free Starbucks coffee. Within the complex, it's very well lit and well maintained by the maintenance staff. Within the units themselves, expect hardwood in the kitchen, tile in the bathroom, combined with spacious and well laid out spaces and you can't go too wrong here. The outdoor breezways are a nice touch and give good separation between the units, and the windows are nice and big and let in plenty of light. As for location, if you work anywhere but the east side of Columbus it's very easy to navigate, being so close to the highway and other easy routes to the hot spots in town. Surprisingly, there is very little noise that comes from the highway, even being this close.Cons: Now of course with any place you live, there's bound to be some negatives, but here's a few that you may or may not have heard of. The free coffee, while great, is only offered from 6am until the clubhouse closes on 6pm M-Sa and 5pm on Su. Not terrible but for someone who goes in to work early, just something to consider. The lots are typically not plowed or salted well so be weary when driving or walking in the winter, although the area around the clubhouse is pretty well taken care of. In terms of parking, if you're a typical 9-5er it shouldn't be a problem to find something close, but if you're not be prepared to walk, though nothing is too too far. If you don't like noise, don't live here, there's a very active fire station across the street with constant sirens and the windows and doors leak noise like crazy. Speaking of leaky doors and windows, I'm not sure what this place was built with, but in the winters my 1-BR apartment is set at 67* while I'm there and 62* while I'm not, and the bill is routinely over $150 per month. Not really sure how that works out in a place that's only a few years old.Additional notes: I can't say enough great things about the maintenance staff, regardless of how the winters drive. They're so responsive and have been so helpful each and every time I ask for something. The leasing staff is also decently helpful and responsive, and there's a few that have shined through since I moved in, but they rotate through pretty often. There are a decent amount of social opportunities and chances to meet people, but nothing that's so overwhelming. With all of that said, I would still give this place a glowing four-star rating if it wasn't for one thing: the price. I'm paying $910 for a top floor ($30 extra per month, necessary because of the noise), one bedroom apartment, which in my opinion I should be able to expect more from this place. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of great perks and the units are nice, but that's the same price as a mid-level LC, which this place very much is not. Couple that with them forcing you to utilize their own electric provider (American Power and Light, who adds a "common" kWh charge to your account every month), their own water provider (Central Ohio Water Distribution, routinely $30/month for one person in a 1-BR), and their exclusive contract with TWC/Spectrum (you can do the dish but they're pretty much all you got for internet), and everything adds up to well over $1050/month. Would I still recommend this place or other Live Preferred properties? Sure. But just know what you're getting yourself into when you sign your lease, and know that there are better options out there for what you're paying.

Live here for two years now and this place has continually gone downhill. The trash is constantly overflowing and we are charged fees for bulk items despite the area being unsecured. Work orders go untouched for months and staff acts like it is normal for a work order to go two months with no one to check on it. we have attempted to set up a meeting with the property management to voice our concerns but they never got back to us to set up a meeting. Staff is also never in the office past 5 pm or will be there and look at you through the locked door. Even had to call the police on neighbors who were fighting out in the parking lot and never heard back from the property. Do not rent here it has been a headache to get anything done or use any amenities. Would love to hear from someone who works for the corporate office at it seems like the staff refuses to elevate concerns.

I've lived here for 3 years, when I first moved in it was a great place to live. The leasing staff was very helpful, maintenance was onto of it and rent was reasonable. However, in the last year it's gone way downhill. My work vehicle has been broken into twice, people drive recklessly through the neighborhood and blare music. I have 3 days left on my lease and maintenance came in and ripped paintings off the wall and threw the rest of my stuff on top of them. Also the communication with in the leasing office is terrible.

I lived here for a few years. It was good at first and then everything went to hell the second year from the staff changing. To the rising of rent cost during Covid. To trash all over the trash, compactor and grounds. The mold in the apartment. they sent maintenance to spray with alcohol . definitely don't recommend to live here.

One star is a huge overstatement. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY PEOPLE. The 'good' reviews are from back when a different company managed this place. Now, it is Oakmont Investment Properties -a total nightmare of a company. The office doesn't pick up the phone. They don't answer emails. Was told excuse after excuse such as "my dog died." Took forever for them to confirm my move out date. Once moved out, I continued to get charged for electric and water bills even though my lease was OVER. Had to harass the utility companies myself as Oakmont was totally unresponsive. Now the fun part. Security deposit. I got this back almost THREE months after my move out date. Totally unacceptable, in fact ILLEGAL in the state of Ohio. I also had to harass Oakmont to even get this returned. Again it was just silence on their end. Was told more excuses: that they had a 'new property manager.'If you want your money held hostage and a headache of an experience, sign right up! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Although this place has the "new" factor don't live here if you want to live in peace. You can hear anything and everything that your neighbors do (their conversations, laughing, music, tv, walking, opening and closing drawers, etc). If a neighbor has a dog with separation anxiety each time they leave it will feel as though you have a pet too because you'll hear the barking and whining loud and clear in your apartment. Telling management often results in nothing being done. This place is marketed as a place for young professionals but there are moments where it feels as though you're on campus with college kids. The only reason this place received 2 stars is due to the fact that it's in a great location, it has nice amenities, and the apartment itself is very nice. If you have noisy neighbors or neighbors with pets you will suffer.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. We had such a poor experience with Andover Park solely because of the management here and the lack of respect to the residents. It is such a negatively filled community to live in. Constant car break ins and packages being stolen. Did not feel safe here at all. I have never experienced an apartment community as awful as this place. They have cheap prices for a reason people. Location is also awful being right off of the freeway and the complex is filled with trash everywhere due to the trash compactor overflowing. They actually give people gift cards to post positive reviews, so anything else you read, take with a grain of salt.
