Ameristop Food Mart Store 29316

Man was this place a run down place ha! I traveled 35 miles to get a special beer and they had it. Basically bottles and boxes of beer were thrown all over the store (which is really an old UDF, that's what it looks like anyway). I asked the lady if she knew if they carried the beer I was looking for and she said there are two people who know what we have in stock and they're not working. Shouldn't all staff know what beer they carry? Or at least where to look for it? Anyway, we found what we were looking for and took a look around. Beer bottles everywhere!!!! Like 4/5 aisles plus the coke stuff, no rhyme or reason to it really. Then they had a deli case by the register which I wasn't about to get Into that. I don't trust gas station type food, ever! I might be back if I have a specialty beer that I need, otherwise never again!

Amazing stock of craft beer from all over the US -- UNFORTUNATELY a lot of it isn't fresh -- IPAs from 9 months ago. IPAs are best if consumed within 8 weeks. They also don't accept out of state IDs.

Hands down the best place to get beer in Lancaster. They have hundreds in stock and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will try to get it for you. They also have a wide variety of grocery items and a very nice deli. The staff is also very friendly. I can't say enough good things about this store!

having a small business should not mean over pricing every single item. Five dollars for a pack of cheese of 16 slices. places like this are part of the problem as to why nobody can afford anything. unless you plan on breaking the bank, I would not stop at AmeriStop.

I'm in there several times a week for those little things I seem to forget at the store. Their deli is great, I usually grab sandwiches to take to track meets. They have all your lotto and specialty beer items. The owner goes above and beyond when it comes to giving back to the community. They have pretty much everything you need.
