The staff is very friendly the service is really good. The food is pretty bland. I was hoping for all American dinner food but it was lacking in flavor and seasoning.

We were visiting Fostoria for the day, and came here for lunch. The restaurant seems like a place where all the locals come for a meal that is not fast food or chain. There does not seem to be many local diners or restaurants.Anyway, we walked in and the place was pretty busy. There did not seem to be anyone who was designated as the host or hostess, and it took awhile for someone to acknowledge that we were there. It was not clear if we sat ourselves or if we get seated. We sat ourselves at a table near the front....We were greeted by our server who took our drink orders. Overall service was decent and acceptable--nothing over the top or bad. The menu items was very typical of what one would find at a diner or family restaurant in rural America. They had items from meatloaf to burgers to fish to salads. They even had some Greek items (like Greek salad and gyros). I opted for the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and gravy. The dinner included soup or salad and a vegetable. I got the cabbage soup, which was excellent. The liver and onions was very good too.Overall a very decent experience. For a town like Fostoria, foodie dining options are pretty limited. The quality and service here is good, and I would not mind coming back.

Not a bad place but nothing really special. The ambiance is not that great. Our waitress was very friendly. The menu is huge. Lots to choose from anything from steak to seafood to lasagna to teriyaki chicken. I got the lasagna it was a little burnt on the bottom but decent. Not bad!!

Great service, good food but terrible sausage. Everything else is pretty good. Kids and grandkids love it too.

We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and have NEVER had a bad meal. Is it 5 star dinning? No. It's good home style cooking.

Fostoria is a little short of restaurants, but overall, this is just about the best in town. The breakfast specials are hard to beat and the other foods are, for the most part, OK. Not fine dining, but you will get exactly what you pay for there. Staff is friendly and helpful and menu is quite large for a hometown eatery.

Friday August 28, 2015Dinner was all you can eat Walleye dinner with 2 sides.Sides were cup of clam chowder and baked potato. The clam chowder had a good flavor but was too thick. The walleye was terrible! The batter was so thick I had to break it off to eat the fish inside. Then that was full of grease. I love a good fish fry but this was horrible. The service was good and area clean.

We love this place. Service is fast and friendly. They have one of those menus that takes awhile to see what your in the mood for, cause they got it all! Some Italian, some Greek, and of course American . Everything my husband and I have ordered has been huge in size, Homemade and delicious on flavor, and light on the wallet. By far one our favorite places to go.
