We loved loved loved this venue! OMG! It is so beautiful and offers so much flexibility. The interior provides that rustic feel and needs little decoration because it is so nice on its own. We learned that you can pick your own caterer and provide your own booze which can go along way in both cost and allowing you to truly customize your special event. This was one of the top contenders for our wedding day. What ended up keeping us from booking is that we wanted to have a November wedding and this venue is perfect for outdoor weddings so it just was too much of a gamble with the crazy Ohio weather. If you're venue shopping, I highly recommend this place. It was just so nice and if you're an Upper Arlington resident, you can get even more of a discount. Check it out!

I photographed a wedding here over the weekend. What a hidden gem set back in one of the Columbus Parks and Rec locations in Upper Arlington. The staff was excellent -- always checking in to see if we needed anything. According to Charlotte, one of the venue coordinators, they can seat about 150 max. The wedding I attended had a little under 100 guests, with plenty of room to move about with the dance floor set up in the front of the venue. For the ceremony: There is a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking a pond w/ a fountain. Plenty of seating with a small aisle for the bridal party to walk down. For the reception: There is plenty of room! Tons of natural lighting. A concession stand type window bar area and an alcove to set up the food and cake tables. I was very impressed with this venue. It was clean, modern, easy to access, great staffing, with tons of natural beauty to it. I will definitely be suggesting this location to future photography clients. Well done, Amelita Mirolo.

Fantastic wedding venue - I had no idea this was tucked back here! My friends had their ceremony out on the lawn, but a ceremony on the patio under the arch would also be beautiful. The barn itself was perfect for dinner and dancing - clean bathrooms, beautiful wooden beams, and lots of space. And a bonus for a Labor Day wedding, very thorough AC lol! We loved sitting and chatting on the patio once it cooled off outside. I'm so glad I got to check this place out!

First time at the Barn for the Columbus SOUP! Event and i was very impressed with the location and size. 150 guests sat comfortably. There is a bar/serving area with a kitchen area. Situated next to the 94.7 radio station building and Sunny 95 park (a brand new looking park). I grew up in Upper Arlington and totally forgot a park was even back there. This venue has a small parking lot outside, not nearly enough for 150. The venue was perfect for our event. This space would be great for a wedding reception, graduation reception, family reunion..you name it.Very nice location and great space!

A classmate recommended the Amelita Mirolo Barn to me, and it ended up being perfect for our summer wedding. I love that it is so unique- a barn in the middle of a city- and that we could personalize it so much with our decor. We had about 85 guests, and it was just the right amount of room for the tables, dance floor, and a photobooth inside. It was so nice to have the side barn doors open during the first part of our reception, too, since it was a gorgeous day. The guests really enjoyed walking around the park and hanging out on the patios thoughout the evening. We had our ceremony outside on the patio under the arch, which is beautiful with the fountain in the background.Additionally, every single person I spoke with from the staff was very friendly and helpful. Michael answered numerous questions for me over the course of our planning, and was always nice and responsive. Jodi was the main person we worked with when we were actually at the barn (planning the layout, decorating, and then the actual wedding) and she was the best! Everything was easy and ran smoothly from start to finish. We decorated the barn the evening before the wedding, and Jodi and her colleague (Brian, I think?) were both really nice, calm, and happy to answer questions and do whatever they could to help us, even rearranging items in the fridges so we could store iced tea in one of them. It was really a great experience to have our wedding at the Amelita Mirolo Barn and I highly recommend it!
