A'MAYS'ing Meats

Incredibly rude - came in and had some questions and the two women in the store wouldn't actually talk just kept shaking there heads. Then asked about turkeys and she said "you have to preorder .. remember that for next year" and just the tone "you idiot" was unnecessary. Also rude the other gentleman in the store. Will not be returning. Would not recommend.

Great prices . We have been very happy with the quality of the meat they sell. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic customer service and top quality meats. Thank God that the local butcher shop is still viable. I've seen Kroger put butcher shops out of business and it's sad because Kroger meats are Not quality.

Wow! I just read the only review and cannot believe we are talking about the same place. Lots of great meat, chicken, pork selections and a real country butcher shop. They are not cheap, but their selections are excellent quality. Lots of samples and very nice folks behind the counter. Give them a try and decide for yourself.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEER MEAT TO GET PROCESSED HERE.They will give you about 25% of the deer meat that you take to get processed, keep the rest, and then sell it to the public.Read their recent Google reviews, this is their business practice since new management.

Amazing Meats is wonderful! These folks prepare cuts of meat to order just as we like them ... including specialty cuts. And the quality is first rate at reasonable prices (reasonable considering their own costs, that is.)

If I could go lower, I would. NEVER take a deer to this place. I had instructions typed out which were handed to the ticket taker - the deer was picked up and they got almost EVERYTHING wrong. When I asked to have as many roasts as possible they gave zero. They even ground some of the loins which no one would ask for. The back straps that they gave were cut into small chunks instead of the individual whole loins - this is NOT their decision to make and should be up to the customer, and is something I never requested. I am appalled at their lack of service, inability to follow typed out request and take them down, and their meat handling. I will never go back, and anyone who asks me I will make sure I give the same advice.

My wife and I stopped in 7/2/2020 and, to our surprise, not a single employee or customer was wearing a mask in the middle of this pandemic. At that moment, we should have turned around and left, but for some reason we did not. The selection of meats was very limited, which I guess is to be expected two days before a holiday weekend. But that doesn't excuse the fact that, aside from the fillets, there were no thick steaks to be had. We ended up choosing bone-in ribeyes because they looked to be thicker than the boneless ribeyes or strip steaks. They were no more than 3/4 inch thick. Again, we should have just left and gone somewhere else, but we did not. We won't make that mistake again.

Terrible experience with this company. My wife bought a gift card for my dad (it was actually a piece of paper that they gave us). My dad took the gift card in and tried to buy some meat, and they said they never sold the gift card and that it wasn't valid. Robbed us of $40. Never going back.

I had my hog processed here and was very pleased with their customer service. The processing and packaging of the meat was excellent. The pork chops were cut properly and not paper thin like some processing plants I have worked with in the past. I would recommend Amaysing Meats.
