Amano's Sports Bar

An ok bar. May try next for a meal. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and the pretzel bites (not impressed). The bartender was great and running her butt of serving the bar and the patio.It's hidden for newbies like us, but we saw the sign when we have visited Pies & Pints. Now we know it's behind Pies & Pints!

Popped in for a quick lunch. It was cozy for a sports bar. There only seemed to be waitress. My husband ordered the pizza which was alright. It was a great bargain. I ordered the jumbo Florentine spinach ravioli. It was delicious and it was in a sauce that seemed homemade. It was super tasty and was worth the long wait and thus Amano's gets my 5 star. We will definitely be repeat guests.

I'm so thankful that this place is open!! Operation hours are limited, but I try to get lunch as often as I can, and they are open for dinner. They are located right next to where I work, so they are very convenient. The patio is open during the warmer months!I've never had anything bad from here. Their pizza and sandwiches are amazing, all at a reasonable price. They offer dine in, curb side and delivery through Door Dash, but I don't support Door Dash, as I'm trying to give all my money to the business. It's ok if you do... a person has to eat!If you're in the area, please give these guys some business. You won't regret it!

Amano's is not a horrible sports bar. I say it's only mediocre. There's a pizza buffet at lunch. It has an average selection of beer. There's nothing special about it. I have been here for the happy hour. It's not really that crowded. There's good spots at the bar to see the TVs. It has some good specials. There's half off drafts and a few others. It has some good cocktails for not all that much. They make a good citrusy cocktail for about a few bucks. I wouldn't get pizza at Armano's. It must not be too bad because some like it. This is an okay bar for the area that needs something like this.

Wow! Me and my family have been going to Amano's for years. We donate every year to the McGuffey Lane event. As a Steelers fan we always felt welcome and when the games weren't televised we watched them at Amano's. Today is a key game for the Steelers to get a wide card and Mark has a bar full of Steelers fans not a single person for the Browns. And the Browns need to loose today to get a decent draft pick. Mark refuses to switch the sound to the Steelers game. No one in the bar is even looking at the Cleveland game. I'm really disappointed in his business sense. We might need to rethink our business sense coming here again. If you are a Steelers fan I would not come here.Update 8-23-18 nothing has changed. I'll try once more this year and if we get snubbed and again, I'm done.

This is a nice spot - I've only been in for lunch, for the pizza buffet. It's always got a small crowd, and a soup on the counter. They have a good selection of taps.It's good! It's not the world's best pizza (or the best in Columbus) but for cheap pizza and decent soup? They do it well! I haven't popped in for a happy hour (yet) - but I'd like to one day after work. It's got that kinda vibe to it.

Yum - loved our quesadilla, meatball sub and wings. Love this place and the staff.

There was NO service. My friend and I visited Fri evening after teaching a class. There was no sign to wait to be seated so we found a small table that had not been wiped off yet but it was the only empty one. We were there about 15-20 min talking but no one came over to greet us or offer water, no direction as to if we needed to order at the bar first. The only person that appeared to be working there was a bartender. We were totally ignored. We finally left. I only went there on the recommendation of a friend. Needless to say we won't be returning. So sad..

I drive by Worthington Mall everyday and didn't know the restaurant was even there. They had a rib special that night so we ordered that, pizza and the fried mushrooms. The ribs were delicious but really hard to eat and they didn't bring a knife to separate them. The server did check on us but only after we finished ripping them apart to share. The fried mushrooms were a disappointment. Although they were fresh mushrooms that were sliced there weren't many of them. The coating was thick and didn't stick to the mushrooms. We enjoyed the pizza. The sauce wasn't sweet and the sausage was excellent. We plan to go back and try the Italian sub.

Sure...we come for the drinks, the games, and the STELLAR FOOD (seriously, get the cheesesteak) but we stay for the amazing service and small town feel. Stephanie is the most warm and welcoming server/bartender i think I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you get the chance, tell her hello (and go Cowboys) 110% recommend this place!
