We are from out of town. This was a great little stop full of history. The bar is beautiful and they are super friendly.

Jambalaya was today's lunch special, but I was there for the BPTS and ordered it as a side. The jambalaya is excellent! The BPTS is the star of the show. It is made in-house, not a Sysco or GFS patty. The breading is not too much and not too thin. Give Alpha Cafe a try.Reminder: Cash only! No credit/debit cards.

The bar inside this place is pretty cool. Other than that it's just an okay place to check out. The food is alright but nothing really has stood out the couple of times I've eaten there. The staff is usually friendly and the prices aren't bad. I only end up at this place when whoever I'm with decides that's where we are going (which isn't very often).

When you walk into a bar, and it turns out to be more than 100 years old with an authentic Brunswick (made in Cincinnati) carved wooden bar, massive drink selection, and friendly staff - you know you've hit a homerun. And what's this? The place has the highest health department inspection rating year after year because they are so diligent about cleanliness and food safety? Yes! What's that? A Touchtunes jukebox? Indeed it is. Pool tables, electronic darts...if this place had cots or hammocks, we'd never leave. We got here too late in the evening for food, but based on the looks of their menu, I wish we had eaten dinner here. If you never been here, try it. If you have been here, come more often. If you're a regular, congratulations. You knew all along.

Beautiful bar. Friendly staff and cool family history of bar and town. Food was pretty basic like you'd get at a blue collar family reunion. Drinks were old school Smirnoff, Bacardi, Seagram's as top shelf. Maybe since they're open til 2:30 it picks up later. Early evening crowd was a dud on Saturday night.Cash only.

Stopped in to celebrate Mother's Day. We were surprised at how awesome this place was. The staff was very friendly and we were lucky enough to have the owner come and speak about the history of the Cafe, which has been around since 1893. Very inexpensive food prices. The food prices would rival that of a fast food establishment with a much better quality. We will absolutely be making a return visit next time we are in town.

Stopped in while working in town. The whole place was very clean and the waiters and waitresses were friendly. Met the owner Tony who was very nice. Told us about the huge hand carved bar they have. The Food was better than regular bar food. Will be coming back.

Rudest owner (Tony) and worst service in all of the downtown bars in Wapakoneta. Do not waste your time or money in this establishment.
