All Star Philly Subs

Was in town for an appointment. Picked this spot to check out. Was greeted as soon as I got in the door. Very friendly staff. Ordered the Philly steak and fries. Food was hot and delicious!! Added bonus they had vinegar on the tables for the fries! The restaurant its self could use a little sprucing up, pictures or anything on the walls! Great food, great service! Highly recommend!

Hilltop Lawn Care manager told me about this place, and I finally checked it out a few times before making my review. I definitely needed to get my Philly steak sub fix since Zanesville has none.... partly because the leases are outrageous for the area, and you need to be on Maple in sight of people to get any customers. This also drives prices up for everyone. So far so good. this is in my top ten steak sub places in central Ohio (not many options). Not my favorite but they are nice and deliver in taste. I have ordered the BBQ steak sub, the philly cheesesteak, and the teriyaki chicken sub. The teriyaki chicken suffers from a little too much salt and I am not sure if it is the sauce or if they are adding salt to it. Next the BBQ steak sub is very nice and the sauce ain't bad. I forgot to mention I have also ordered cheese and bacon fries and they look burnt but are soft and taste good. The Philly steak sub is nice but not my favorite which is why it is not my top five. The place looks old/dirty but it is due to the type of colors chosen for the place. They did clean when I was there but because it is old looking and the color scheme, it doesn't help with the look but the manager was pleasant and attentive and they try to keep it clean so out of towners don't judge the book cover, you may like this place.

Delicious chicken cheese sub and hand-breaded fried mushrooms. Very friendly staff. This was a nice break on a long drive. I hope to stop here again. Yum!

My wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch on our way to The Wilds. Their subs are great - the bread was perfect and everything was fresh and delicious.

I found this place by doing a search in my phone and I am so glad I did. My sandwich was delicious and the fries were great too! I will definitely be back often!

Top Shelf right here! In town for work and needed a cheesesteak. Decided to try it out and was not let down. Excellent cheesesteak, just wish it wasn't my last day here. Will definitely return next time in town.Thanks Bill

Pretty good sandwich. All-star Philly was a pretty good meal. I think a double stack of cheese would have been awesome, lol. Fries were perfectly done. Quick and friendly service. Lots of sandwiches on the menu I will certainly be back for more!

Best subs around town, as well as the hand-cut fries and onion rings, which are dy-no-mite.They have daily specials and a nice variety overall.Friendly folk, and good service.Basic dining area, but you don't care cause the food is the focus.Highly recommended.

Best philly steak in town. Excellent onion rings too. Hidden from view a little. It is attached to Family Video. Not fancy, but they have a sit down area.
