They only get two stars because the teachers are nice to the kids, otherwise it would be a one star. The business side is ran horribly. When your child is out for a day or even all week they still charge you full price. Every daycare we have been to when your child is not there the price is reduced. When you ask people at the front desk about billing info they never know and have to wait to ask the director. Very disappointed with their unethical business practices and if we had another option we would have unenrolled our daughter sooner.

Terrible daycare. Staff are always on their phones instead of watching the children. My child came home one day wit a diaper on that obviously hadn't been changed in several hours. Sippy cups are shared among the kids. It'a no wonder they are getting sick all the time. And I just heard that a staff member is possibly abusing their own child. Time for us to find a new daycare.

We have been taking our children to All About Kids in Hilliard since September. The teachers have been fantastic, everyone at the front desk if friendly and helpful. We are so lucky to have found such an amazing center for our kids!

I was going to write a review on facebook, but they have taken that option away. We were at AAK for one week shy of a year. The only reasons we kept them there so long are: 1. They had a few great teachers 2. The cameras are very convenient 3. I was trying to do what was best for my kids, which I thought meant not switching them around too much. I'm so sorry I left them there so long. Here are a few of the things that went wrong:1. A teacher whose son was diagnosed and hospitalized with RSV came in and gave it to my daughter. This resulted in many trips to the pediatrician, urgent care, and even the ER. She was given a nebulizer to use whenever she got wheezy. I provided AAK with all the necessary paperwork from the pediatrician. When I picked her up the first day she had a nebulizer, the assistant director told me she didn't give treatment because she didn't think it was necessary. The assistant director of a daycare facility thinks she knows more than the pediatrician and the child's mother. She is so lazy. I really should have pulled them out at this point, but I kept justifying this place to myself because I could at least peek in at them whenever I wanted.2. They would move my kids around and split them up (they are twins) wherever and whenever worked for them. In any given day, they would be in rooms 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I was not given camera access to the extra rooms unless I called and asked. Once the director herself hung up on me when I called to ask where my kids were. They made a huge point about all the rooms having closed duct systems so that the germs don't circulate through the whole building, and then they expose your child to almost every teacher and child in the building.3. My daughter began biting herself (only at AAK, never at home or anywhere else). I talked to the pediatrician about this and she said it is common when kids are being treated poorly and/or ignored and they are frustrated.4. I was told during the orientation tour that kids at the facility are disciplined through redirection only. I caught them putting my children and other children in time out. I asked the director about this, and she said that older children are put in time out but not one year olds. I continued to witness time outs afterward. They would either put the child on one side of the gate by themselves or strap them in a high chair. This shows how uneducated and underqualified they are. One year olds do not understand this. It only confuses them, and doesn't accomplish anything.5. There was a teacher who was way too rough with these little one year olds. I caught her on camera pushing my child down, jerking her around, and yelling at them if they wanted to look at or touch her beloved iPad. My husband and I had a meeting with the director about this. She plastered on the biggest, fakest smile she could and said "I understand your concerns, but I can't promise this teacher will not be in their room anymore." She was in there the very next day. I confronted the teacher myself in front of the assistant director. The assistant director buried her nose in her computer and didn't even look up. The teacher said "the first time, I just touched her and she fell over." First, I watched on the camera and this wasn't true. Second, what about all the other times? This was the last straw. It took us a few weeks to find a new facility without a wait list, but we pulled them out as soon as we could. I'm embarrassed about how long it took us to pull them out, but like I said, I was thinking that no school is perfect and at least I could check up on them. This was horrible judgment though. They are so much better off now. It took me a couple of months to write a review because these points make my blood boil, but I have to share our experience with other parents.
