I stopped in here to pick up some local Ohio made whiskey. Place is nicely set up with a nice selection of wines, beers, and other types of drinks. When I first walked in, it did not remind me of a liquor store. It reminded me more of a high end jewelry store or something similiar. Staff is very friendly. Plenty of parking out front.Only complaint I had is more of a state regulation. In Ohio, alcohol above a certain percentage, I forget where the cutoff is, must be paid for in cash. If you do not carry to much cash on you, it may involve a stop at an ATM.

This must and has to be one of the best spirit stores out here in Columbus Ohio, wow just wow loved everything about it the staff the lighting the cleanliness the attention to detail and the vibe! Overall great experience one of the staff there witch i hate my self for not asking his name was very friendly visited my hometown back in California very helpful and knowledgeable! I loved it a must place to visit if your into spirits wine or beer I can't speak for the rest but as far as spirit wow it blew my mind! Lovely place they have going on!

My goto place for craft beer and craft beer tastings. Every week on Thursday and Friday at 6p they open up their tasting room to a different theme of beer. Sometimes it's bourbon barrel aged, sometimes it is IPA's or hefenweizens, sometimes it's just new beers to the store. Whatever the theme it is always a good time and a nice way to learn about craft beer. One of the managers there, Kyle, tries to learn everyone's name who frequents the place. It's really nice when you walk into a store to hear, "Hey Jeremy, how are you doing?" Definitely makes me want to shop here. He also knows his beers really well and is pretty much the only guy I'll talk to in the place as I've learned to trust his ratings and ideas. He learns what you likes and makes dead on recommendations. The only reason I'm docking them a star is because they don't save the good stuff for their regulars or frequent customers. You can buy all of your beer here, or spend thousands having a party, come in twice a week and buy just a six pack but that won't get you any special treatment when it comes to rare hard to get beers like KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout). When it comes to that stuff it's first come first served vs some other beer stores which will hold the good stuff back for the people who come in often.

Knowledgeable staff and a fantastic selection. Great prices as well. Don't hesitate to ask for advice.

If I could give it no stars I would. The older man, tall, glasses, vest, was extremely rude. I'll take my business where they want it. Won't buy here again!

God forbid you ask the old man how much a bottle is before you buy it without him pressuring you to make up your mind. I asked how much a 20 year whiskey was knowing it was pricey so I wanted to make a educated purchase. After asking one question and stalling for approx 10 seconds he said "honey you need to make up your mind" what the heck? There wasn't anyone behind me. I've spent so much money here. Not anymore. Way to really respect your customers. This was at 9:14 after the rush had left.

My husband's first time in your store...he's looking at labels, etc., and accidentally ended up behind the counter. Thanks for yelling at him in front of other people instead of just saying, "Hey man you're behind the counter.". We will buy elsewhere. Overpriced Powell bullish!t.

Unbelievable selection of craft beer!! Ryan was so attentive! He made us feel like we were the only customers in the store, even though there were many customers!
