They have the viral Dubai chocolate covered strawberries!! All I can say is yes, they are worth the hype! Although a bit on the pricier side ($15 for a small, $20 for a medium) they were worth it for me. They are made to order and the chocolate is a bit on the warm side but it makes them ooey gooey deliciousness. The strawberries were sweet too! They had free little samples of the baklava and I bought the pistachios baklava but they have other options: walnut, pistachio, Turkish, chocolate, cashew, etc. It had so much pistachios in it and was honestly the best baklava I've ever had. I definitely recommend checking them out!

I love international sweets and I'm crazy about authentic tasting experiences, so I was super excited to find this little Middle Eastern sweet shop.I came here after watching a video from @stepoutcolumbus about knefeh from Al Aqsa. It was even more delicious than I had imagined. Picture sweet (but not too sweet), delicately honey flavored cake with a light layer of pastry on the bottom and a layer of gooey melted cheese in the middle. Knefeh is my new favorite thing!I got another new-to-me dessert, layali labnan, which is Lebanese milk pudding and looks amazing, but I haven't tried it yet. I also picked up some authentic Turkish delight, which I fell in love with on a recent trip and I'm stoked to find a legit source locally. All that to say... try international sweets! They are typically less sweet than American desserts and sooo delicious! Al Aqsa is my new favorite sweet shop. No notes!

I wasn't sure it was open. Doesn't look like much from outside. But man, it is something inside. Tiny and bright and airy and full of sweets. The display cases were chock full of goodies. Several varieties and flavors of baklava, other pastries I don't know the names of, Turkish delight, cookies, candy... I wanted some of everything. I got some of 6 or 8 things. The baklava was great. The Turkish delight was heavenly. The cookies were amazing. I also tried that trendy knafeh pistachio chocolate bar. Wow. I like pistachio, so I had to try, but I didn't want the massive bar they had out front so she got me a smaller one from the back. I'm glad, because I forgot it was hot and I'd be in the car, and had to eat it soon. But it was so, so good. I would have eaten the entire large bar right then. Yum. Try it, if you like pistachio at all. Really good chocolate, really good filling.Service was good. I got a lot, so it added up to about $30, but we're talking the specialty candy bar, 4 pieces of amazing Turkish delight, three kinds of baklava, coconut cake, and a few cookies and other things. Well worth it.

So delicious and the most kind employees yet! I came 30 minutes before close, I'm currently pregnant and was craving something sweet and have been wanting to try Al Aqsa's for a while. So glad I was finally able to make it in. I'm not very good with the names or spelling. But I had two different treats! One was a coconut wet cake, it was so soft and moist and perfect balance between coconut and sweetness. I also had a cookie that was like a strawberry filled shortbread half dipped in chocolate with what seemed like pistachios on the chocolate. And perfectly balanced! I will for sure be back for more!! It was such a cute and quiet boutique, So grateful to the staff for being kind despite how late I came in.

My brother and I stopped by just before closing! I've been wanting to try this place for a while and am kicking myself for not going sooner. The store is small but it has a great selection. Slices of cake, chocolates, baklavas, etc. I'm normally not big on baklava but wanted to try some. The man behind the counter suggested getting a variety, and packed us a half pound box of various flavors. I'm a baklava convert! I can't wait to go back to try more of what they have.

I came for the pistachio chocolate bar but I'm coming back for the Knafeh. They even included a sticker with reheating instructions. I opted for using the air fryer but will follow directions next time because I'm curious if it's the same. Not being familiar with some of the sweets on display, I was feeling indecisive but they were patient and were able to help me choose.

A great little dessert shop that's a bit far from city center but so worth the drive. Its a cute little store front with about 2 seats inside so definitely more of a pick up and go type of place. The owner and staff are super kind and patient, especially if you're new and have no clue what to get or try. Desserts are bought by the pound but you can get samplers of various options as well. The knafeh is amazing and if you're going to just try one dessert, I'd highly recommend it!

I found this place during my search for the viral Dubai pistachio chocolate. It is a very small store but it is filled with tons of delicious-looking treats. When I arrived, all of the chocolate bars were sold out, as they usually are, but the employee went in the back and found a couple of bars just so I didn't leave empty-handed. While he was on the back, he offered a free sample of the most spectacular treat, something I can only describe as a fried ball of honey. You bite into a crunchy dough shell and get hit with a burst of sweet juices. The chocolate bar is also nothing like anything you'll find outside of a specialty store like this, I recommend trying it.

The pastries are delicious and authentic, if pricey. We had an amazing slice of pistachio cake and will be back for more.
