For the price, it's pretty good. Fairly wide open and busy as heck. The green were in fairly good shape, most of the fairways are like playing in your back yard. The grass isn't the greatest.

DO YOU LIKE JET FUEL WITH YOUR TEE TIME?This golf course actually, NO KIDDING, has the airport markers lining between the 13th and 15th holes guiding planes in for landing. This is a muni course located about 150 yards from the beginning of the runway. If you think that watching commercial planes fly 800 feet above your head seconds before touchdown, this is the course for you.I actually found it really cool. Planes fascinate me. As for the course, it charges 13.00 for 6 beers, and they include a cooler with ice. Tada. The course itself is in really good shape for a Muni. No geese poop, although we ran into a hornets next about 5 feet from the edge of the #9 green. It is a GooD thing my playing partners had less beers then I did, or else I would have been reeling from hundreds of bites. The holes are VERY easy and wide open. It lists as 6500 feet, and we shot from the Blue(farthest back) and it was my first time out all year and I shot a 49 on the front. The greens are flat and the rough is hardly rough. Very good course for the weekend hacker or beginner.I would say the bang for the buck at this course is definitely on par with a 4 star assessment. The only problems is I started getting a headache from smelling jet fuel for 4 hours.

This is a borderline 3-star rating for me. The course itself and the cheap beer are about the only thing that is keeping the rating that high...First the planes - so cool. i don't mind having to step off a shot every few holes so a 747 can rumble through what appears to be the flight path of my ball. Of course the planes are hundreds of feet higher than my tallest golf shot but when you can see the people waving at you from the windows that's pretty freakin' close. Just be sure to wait an extra 20 seconds after the thing goes past because if your ball gets caught in the jet wash it is not going anywhere. Most of the holes are pretty wide open. The rolling hills are a pleasant surprise seeing how everything around it is so flat. There is a decent amount of danger, certainly more than Raymond Memorial or most other muni courses around Columbus. But like all the other muni's there are the leagues, the dreaded scourge of us non-league players, but I'll get to that...The most disappointing part of every experience I have had there is the staff, and it is evident the second they answer the phone. I don't care if you hate your job, but I don't really want to hear it in your voice two seconds into our phone conversation. Every time I have played this course during the week I have been told to come out and they would be able to get me out just fine, only to arrive and find leagues teeing off at the exact time I was told I would be able to play and sometimes they are even going off the front and the back. None of the staff (pro-shop, starter, ranger etc...) seems to be on the same page for much of anything and I even found myself in debates over twilight rates and hours (which changed with every person I talked to) and usually end up angered by my interactions with staffers.Overall, the course is definitely worth playing. Just sneak on at night when no staffers or terrible muni-league players are there and bring plenty of glow-in-the-dark golf balls.

this is the most unprofessional golf course. i had a T time at 8 in the morning and they told me that they were on an hour delay due to frost. i understand that this can happen but they did not call me when they knew what was going on. they wasted my time when i live an hour and half away. when i walked inside the building the old lady had a major attitude and did not care that she wasted my time or care that she didn't call and tell me they were on a delay. if you want to go to a golf course that is unprofessional and doesn't care about their costumers then feel free to come to this one.

I had the chance to visit this course yesterday and it was a pretty nice course to play on. The only negative thing was the experience I had with the lady in the shop taking our payments for the tee time we reserved. She wasn't pleasant at all and talked to me like I was stupid and shouldn't be there. I probably won't be back because of that.

Extremely rude workers that yelled and argued with us as we attempted to pay for our round.

Nice course but they don't honor tee times. Place is packed and backed up at times 4 groups deep.

Played Airport today, course was in great shape. Greens were terrific for early in the season. Course was very busy, we started off the back 9, and had to wait 50% of the time to hit our next shot, but still finished in 4 hours, even stopping for a quick Hotdog (grab and go) at the turn. Airport is close to home and a fun course that isn't too difficult. I enjoy this course.
