We haven't purchased from them yet as we are next technically Ohio residents yet. But the store was easy to find, had a great collection of firearms and accessories. The indoor range looked clean and maintained with plenty of lockers for personal belongings. The staff appeared very knowledgeable and were able to easily articulate the states weapons laws. Every employee asked us if we needed any help or had any questions during our twenty minute stop in, which was cool. Great place and will be back.

Nice range set up, but as always, plan ahead. It isn't big so it can fill up with just a couple folks ahead of you. They are serious about safety and watching the video. Good with keeping an eye on PPE too.

AimHi offers lots of helpful courses. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

This company makes promises and then doesn't honor them. For professional reasons, I won't elaborate, but let's just say that, as a businessperson, I am furious with them. Do you really want to do business with a company like this?

I did not visit this place YET. But any place with more then 3 1/2 stars on Yelp is good in my book...A was looking for nearby place (my wife and I recently purchased condo on preserve in New Albany for our retirement near grandkids) to take my almost 40 YO daughter for her 1st time shooting. So I searched New Albany, OH area and find this gem. I live in Bay Area, CA - SF neighborhood & I call them on phone.I want to verify that they rent guns etc. plus to get info how to legally move my guns (ex special forces member) from CA to OH. They were very knowledgeable and patient with me. I'm definitely looking forward to visit this neighborhood store on my next visit to Ohio this summer!OK, yesterday FINALY I took my daughter there for her 1st shooting. Really nice, knowledgeable and safe place. We will definitely be back!

I have been a member at AimHi for over 15 years, I have purchased directly from the Center, did transfer, shooting, took classes, used their gun smith for different jobs, it was all good experience. The staff there is very helpful and respectful. Regardless of your firearm experience, you will get the attention and the respect that you deserve. They may not have the biggest gun store / range in the area, but they have the best customer service.

We took a ccw course there. Great course, good instructor, a chance to get to fire many different types of handguns. I am only giving it two stars, however, because of the staff in the shop. My wife and I are new to firearms and the staff came across as very condescending. I am sure we asked "stupid" questions and there was one point where the sales person rolled his eyes. On top of that I felt like they were trying to take advantage of our ignorance. We purchased a 9mm and asked for ammo to go with it. They sales person handed us 45mm in a serious manner in what seemed like a game to him to see how little we knew.In retrospect really wish we hadn't given them our business and we not be giving it to them in the future.

I chose to use AimHi as an FFL to purchase a law enforcement firearm because of their location and how close it is to where I live. I've also been a member there in the past and would use the range there and thought they were a decent shop. Well, they made the process of purchasing a firearm a nightmare. I purchased a firearm online through a company that I could buy a law enforcement firearm through and had it shipped to AimHi as the FFL.AimHi contacted me to pick the firearm up a few days later and ran the background check on me. I didn't have a CCW, which they asked for at first, but I'm not required to have one to purchase or to carry a firearm (being federal law enforcement and also because Ohio laws have recently changed). A CCW is not required in order to purchase a firearm. So, they took my vehicle registration instead and they kept it... my only copy of my vehicle registration I have that has my home address on it. I did not get my vehicle registration back from them the whole 3 days it took them to run my background that came back delayed. The background should not have come back delayed... I'm guessing something was done incorrectly on their end. I called them on a Friday (3 days after they ran the background) and told them I was going to have the firearm transferred to another FFL if the process was going to take that long. There's absolutely no reason why my background should have been delayed... I've never been in trouble with the law, I'm a police officer and I'm active military.So, that Saturday morning, they called me and said I had a 'proceed' and they would allow me to pick up the forearm I purchased (funny how the background check came back cleared the day after I threatened to take my business elsewhere). Well, I get there today (Saturday), and the representative named Chris asks me for my CCW when I walk in the store to pick it up. AGAIN, a CCW is NOT required to purchase a firearm in the state of Ohio and oh yeah, they still had my only copy of my vehicle registration in my packet packet behind the counter. I explained this to Chris, and he told me I needed to calm down. I told him I just wanted to pick up my firearm and be done there. He was extremely condescending through this whole process and I will not be back to do business with AimHi. Not sure if it's because I'm a female who came in there alone and bought a firearm... I can 100% guarantee this representative would not have told a man to 'calm down.' I'll be sure to tell other law enforcement about my experience and to not use them as well.

Excellent facility and helpful staff. Indoor ranges are well maintained and safety is a priority. I wish they had an outdoor range too!

Employees are uncouth in their approach to running day-to-day operations. This is on top of prices that have an extreme markup. I would recommend finding another range to shoot at.
