Odd combination of a fancy interior with dive bar food and dive bar prices. With a name that includes "Bistro" it definitely wasn't what we were expecting. Service was good but we probably would not return for lunch. I would return for evening drinks, it has a huge long wrap around bar.

Service was great. Ordered fried mushrooms and they were frozen still. Hamburger had fillers and panini was sparse. Nice Ambiance. I supposed a place to go to get drunk.

Only restaurant in this part of town. Food is bar food. Took a little time given this place was empty at noontime. But, it was hot and came out correct as ordered. The restaurant echoed due to being empty. Decent decor. Wooden custom bar - well stocked for you boozers. Friendly service. I have a pet peeve against restaurants that serve Iced Tea from a bar gun. Gun tea is lazy. It makes me wonder, where else are they cutting corners? I'll go elsewhere given the choice.

So my husband and I have passed this place numerous times. Last week we stopped. I had a French dip and he had a hot dog (one of his favorites). Not a hopping place with so much space. The food was good and the waitress and cook were super friendly. Menu does not give a big selection, Pub food. It should be busier being in the old Hawkins Shopping Center, but it isn't. Misconception is that it is expensive, average pricing for good, not gourmet food. The interior is is very, very nice and some thought was put into this place. The owner has the The Olde Jail (spelling) in downtown Wooster, plus owns a chunk of the Hawkins shopping Center. My husband and I are not drinkers, but they have a fully stocked bar, the cook knows his alcohol, and it is a beautiful bar straight out of the movies in NYC or LA, SF. Plenty of parking, worth it for nothing else than the French Dip.

We've never had a bad meal or bad experience here. The owner is super nice and we love Liz at the bar. The beer is super cold and the people are friendly. The menu is pub food but it's good pub food. Check them out!

So this place is not only immature but so unprofessional. I worked there for only a week and thank God for good reason. Not only is the establishment dirty, table tops, bar top, bathrooms and floors. But the "owner' and "bar manager" are completely unbelievablely trashy. I haven't spoken to either of them in months, but I needed to get my w2. I didn't even wanna call because when I did leave they screamed and yelled and unhung on the phone like a couple of 7th graders. So I call politely and ask about the w2 and the old blonde lady got on the phone and acted immature if yall want good food in a clean restaurant don't go here.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The bartenders make good drinks and they have decent bar food, nothing gourmet. Try the pizza or taco logs. The manager has always been kind and will spark up a conversation with you. They are often short-staffed and training someone. Some of these bad reviews are from chronic Yelpers (constant complainers) that don't want to understand that fact and refuse to look at how the party they're with could be causing a problem for the staff.

Abysmal service and management... The staff are not able to perform their jobs. Management is rude. This business needs new management or better yet just close the place .

I'm typically slow to anger when it comes to treatment at a restaurant. You never know if someone is having a rough day or having problems at home, but the experience today was unacceptable. For some reason a gentleman who worked there (I believe he was the manager but was working in the kitchen) had it out for us. I was there alongside 20-30 people celebrating a birthday and things got weird off the bat. When we arrived we were told to wait in the party area to be waited on instead of going up to the bar for our drink. Normally it's not a big deal and would understand, however staff only approached about every 20-25 minutes taking orders. On top of this, an 80 year old lady who was not drinking wanted another water and didn't want to wait. She went up to the bar, politely asked if she could have a refill, and was rudely told to wait at the table. Later in the afternoon, presents were opened and the man who the party was got an unopened bottle of liquor. Soon after, the manager yelled at us for having the bottle in the bar because it was illegal. While I am not 100% sure if this is true, instead of yelling, he could have politely and calmly asked us to take the bottle of liquor outside. Finally, several people of the party wanted to do a shot to celebrate, however the manager told use we cannot because of the children inside the bar. This to me makes no sense whatsoever because alcohol already surrounded the children. If we were at a restaurant like Applebee's or Buffalo Wild Wings, which frequently have children, we could have gotten the shots. Again, I don't know if it was just a bad day or something else was wrong, but that doesn't give the manger the right to treat other like that.
