Tacos, chips and salsa and the margs were all delicious! They have some different types of tacos that other places don't have.

I had high hopes for this restaurant after hearing raving reviews, but our experience on a Saturday lunch was a letdown. We walked in to find the place empty, which was a red flag right away. We kicked things off with the house margaritas, hoping for something refreshing. We didn't see the bartender making our drinks and they arrived quickly, but they were actually premade; too tart and filled to the brim with ice! I could barely finish mine, especially given how much better our homemade margaritas are.Next, I ordered the fajitas platter. It came out in about 15 minutes, but the quality fell short. The shredded cheese was clearly store-bought, and the chicken and veggies seemed to be cooked and just reheated, resulting in a dry, smoky texture. I won't dwell on it further, as you get the idea.My husband fared better with his quesabirria and pastor tacos. He loves spicy food, and he was pleased with the heat--though he was surprised by just how spicy they were! They might not be for the faint of heart.On a positive note, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms. The staff, while not particularly friendly, was prompt and attentive to help, which we appreciated. One more thing: please skip the tequila bottles as water pitchers; the water was slimy when I drank it. To improve the experience, I recommend moving away from pre-prepared foods. Fresh ingredients can elevate the flavor--like grating cheese from a block instead of using pre-packaged stuff. It's those little changes that can make a big difference in quality.Overall, there's potential here, but they need to rethink their food preparation to truly shine!

Destin to fail if they don't make changes. The food is made ahead of time and reheated, the margaritas use "fresh lime" but are incredibly sour and not made to order, the food is expensive, house margaritas are $14 at lunch, guacamole and chips $12. Lunch for 2 with apps and 1 drink each will put you out $100 after tip, tax, and credit card fee. It's a shame. This place is close to being good. The atmosphere is right but the food just misses. With a little bit of effort and care this could be an excellent restaurant but they need to make some changes. #1 stop remaking so much food, our fajitas were yesterday's fajitas hit with a torch, it was obvious. The guacamole was made ahead of time and held in the fridge so it came out cold. #2 reduce your menu, it's too big, focus on your greatest hits. #3 improve your bar. Your tequila selection is missing artisan options. Where's Ocho, Fortaleza, G4, or 1,2,3? Why are you using "fresh lime juice" but making the drink ahead of time? #4 you need lunch prices to be lower to incentivize mid day traffic. You have a serious competitor up the street and another around the corner. Learn from them.

Zocalo this restaurant is amazing. I love the simplicity but yet so much flavor in every bite. The drinks are outstanding. I definitely would highly recommend this place again and again to anybody that wants to come and check out great place to have some good tacos. The service was outstanding. They definitely checked on your continuously and made sure if you need a refill or need anything. They were there for you not to mention the ambience there was music playing and people laughing and joking. I mean what type of other atmosphere would you want but don't take my word for it. Come check it out emoji you think I'd love to hear your opinion on it.

This place is a vibe! It's absolutely beautiful. It's located near lots of other restaurants and bars. The restaurant has swings for chairs for bar seating. Super fun, but probably not a good idea if you've had a few drinks. Service was great. The young lady was very sweet and attentive to our table. The ONLY reason I'm not giving this place 5 starts is due to their small portions. The price does not match the portion sizes. Also, chips and salsa cost 6 bucks(includes 1 refill). Most places don't charge for chips and salsa. Drinks were made perfectly but 4 sips and I was done with my mango margarita. Super bummed it wasn't better. Not sure I would come here again if I lived near here. Totally a cute place to visit.

I had an amazing experience dining at Zocalo! The food, the energy, and the overall atmosphere were incredibly positive. My server, Brooke, was warm, friendly, and attentive--she frequently checked in to make sure I was enjoying my meal. I started with the queso fundido, which was absolutely delightful, and followed it up with the Carne Asada tacos, the Quesabirria, and a refreshing Horchata. Everything was delicious and left me feeling great. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying meal!

Food was amazing. They have super good brunch menu on Sunday's! My server Aj gave me great service. Definitely will be coming back!

Zocalo actually has an incredible brisket BBQ quesadilla. I would recommend this quesadilla to any brisket lovers out there. I asked and they slow cook it to perfection. Dylan was our server and did an excel job. They have a cool surfer beach vibe with a VW bus inside. The taco are outstanding. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving BBQ or Mexican.

We had an outstanding time at Zocalo beginning with the cool Tulum vibe when you walk in. The owner Sergio greeted us and was super friendly. He said he was from Mexico City and the first section of tacos were his families recipes. We tried the Quesabirria and Pastor tacos, which were excellent. They have the best tacos in COS. I highly recommend them!!

We had so much fun at Zocalo! The atmosphere is really cool with the surf board and VW bus! I love their fresh salsa and guacamole! Their bacon beer queso and brisket quesadillas are really good too. The tacos are incredible and seem to be made with fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend this place. The service is incredible too!
