I came here after work since online it said they closed at 9pm. The cashier ended up rushing us and telling us that they closed at 8. Some items had price stickers on them but a majority of the items didn't. With the handful of items we had in our basket our total ended up being $50? Ended up having a jar of cheese and stale bread for dinner. Their spice selection there was pretty awesome though! but I probably won't be coming back.

I like coming here and perusing the aisles and learning about foods, teas, spices that are sometimes new to me. They have a great selection of fresh breads, pita, lavash, etc. made locally. Great spice and cheese selection too. I'm not a meat eater but my boyfriend really enjoys the fresh meat from here. The employees are nice and helpful. I'm glad this unique market is close to my home.

We went to this establishment right after work. That recent visit was on Saturday April 5th 2014. I was trying to find the SPICY SAUCE named Harissa for ages. Thankfully, the Staff is so helpful in suggesting two options that they bring in for their store.Yes, they have the LAMB Cuts, and other Halal Meat options in town. Yes, they have the CRESCENT HALAL Chicken Brand in their Refigerated/Freezer Case. They also have frozen food, such as Samosas and Croquettes to name a few.On the extreme LEFT of this establishment, you can find the refrigerated or freezer case/section. All the way back is the Refrigerated Case for the Meats what nots where you can make your order. On the RIGHT section next to the refrigerated case, is where you can ORDER your Deli or Sandwiches. All the items are neatly arranged on the shelves and the establishment is kept very clean. They also provide or offer Deli Sandwiches, such as Shawarma, Gyro or Kebabs. Just give them 10 to 15 minutes, to make it FRESH for you. They also provide Catering services such as Party Platters in which I am hoping to purchase one for future gatherings. All in all a Decent HALAL store in this part of Neighborhood. The Staffs are helpful and welcoming. For their service, they get 4 stars. For the rest of items, it can be higher compared to other Halal establishment/grocer I am used to. Nevertheless, I don't mind returning when needed. That afternoon we purchased :* A Bottled Of Harissa ($3.99)* Cookie/Snack ($2.99)Their current opening hours are from 9am to 9pm. During the SUMMER they will extend their opening hours to 10pm. ZamZam Halal International Market & Deli7449 E Iliff Ave,Denver, CO 80231Tel : (303)-745-4555@70/2014

I just learned of Zamzam Market, and I was thrilled to go there. I felt like I was in Lebanon, Syria, or Palestine. All the employees and most of the customers speak Arabic with one another. I loved it! The employees also speak English with non-Arabic speakers like me.I bought some wonderful home-made bread and desserts. The pita was as good as any I've eaten in the Middle East. The desserts were scrumptious. They have many types of baklava. I tried two and liked them both. The best treat for my sweet tooth was the kanafeh. The only place I've had better kanafeh was in Nablus, Palestine. I also tried some imported food - pickles and labneh. Both were excellent. They have a great bulk section and a good selection of dried fruit, nuts, and teas. The staff was helpful and friendly and the prices were quite reasonable. I recommend this shop highly!

We just moved close to this market and I happened upon it while stopping in the same shopping plaza. (It is next to big lots) I was welcomed by a very friendly man, Sayid? I think. He showed me the entire store and told me all they offer. They have regular, dry, grocery items but also had a bulk section, meat counter, frozen section, cold case, and bakery section with golden/honey desserts and also THE BEST FRESH FLATBREAD/PITA! The bread is made fresh, in store every day except Tues. and you can buy a huge bag of it for $2.99! It is a treat to bring my young son here and pick up this bread and some treats to enjoy.

It was the month of Ramadan I was fasting I drove a far distance to come here, it was my first time entering a hallal grocery after moving here from Houston. I was a little shocked, only because a sisster who seemed like the owner older in age behind the counter had her hair covered just like mine refused me to use the restroom and lied saying that it wasn't working after I placed a large meat order and mentioned i really need to use the restroom I drove a far distance! , I waited for a long time for the meat i tried holding it but I gave up I stepped outside and noticed I can't make it anywhere everything seemed Afar it bothered me so much. I decided to write this now, anyways after I asked her where does she use the restroom and her employees she got nervous and lied saying the hookah lounge in the same lot( which was closed actually) then I had no choice but to convince again to allow me to use the restroom I knew she was lieing; i said I drove from afar, it's an emergency I've been holding it and she said okay I don't let outsiders use the restroom because they make it dirty. I said " I'll make sure it's clean". Anyways thanks a lot because I was almost going to pee on my self and started experiencing pain I drove over 40 minutes , it was the month of Ramadan and I'm a hijabi a Muslim like her except I'm not arab, I felt discriminated. But thanks so much for allowing me to use Afterall

The young (at my age they all appear young) woman behind the counter was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful as I stumbled through the store looking for various items. It was a pleasure to shop there and everything I purchased- long since consumed - was great.
