Yummy Thai

This place doesn't get enough reviews on this site. We stopped here on our way back from royal gorge! There is one women show in front by person taking orders and seating peopleShe quickly took our drink orders and came back to take our food ordersWe ordered Chilli Chicken with sticky rice, Garlic Noodles, Red curry with sticky rice and basil fried rice with vegetables.Chilli Chicken was new to me and tasted spicy and loved it. My family loved the noodles, curry and fried rice as well. Garlic noodles give you a feeling that you are eating garlic bread.Sticky rice was little tough and difficult to chew! All in all, it was a great place to grab lunch after a long day!

Love this spot. Their food is awesome! Friendly service. We ate both the Pad thai and the drunken noodles and they were both fabulous. Dine in is nice and low key and of course take out is easy! They are in the OLD DQ (behind the newer DQ) - You will see the DQ sign before you see their sign, just FYI. Lots of parking in the lot or the street. Across from Safeway, just off Hwy 50. Try it. It is a winner!

Yummy Thai lives up to its name. This charming Thai restaurant serves delicious food in a light and bright dining room. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable for such fresh and carefully prepared food. Do not hesitate to try Yummy Thai.

Ordered chicken pad Thai med heat. Noodles over cooked. Tasted a lot like seafood. I feel they must of cooked on the same oil/pan from a seafood dish. Only had 3 pieces of chicken. Did not have any spice.

We were on our way back from Salida and decided to grab some takeout on our way home. We yelped Thai Food, and this one popped up. It did not disappoint. We were waiting for the food, we were (unrequested!) served water, and my daughter got some very delicious iced Thai tea. Once we came home, we basically inhaled the food. It was so delicious!

Updated after another few visits to add another star. LOVE the spicy eggplant, chicken kabat, crispy chicken if you're feeling naughty, tofu pad Thai is good too if that's more your style! Do yourself a favor especially if you're over the "Italian food" or burger situation in town- try this amazing local business- you won't be disappointed.

Wow. What a good find. The food here was awesome. We started with spring rolls (fried) which were perfect. The sauces were fresh and tasty. Then split the Chicken Fried Rice. Our great waitress took liberty to plate the spilt order which was nice of her to do. The entree was again really fresh. I like mine hot but went with medium which still had a fair amount of heatWould definitely come back here. Super clean restaurant and waitress was there if we needed anything. Only downside is they do not sell beer or liquor. Next time I'd bring my own.

Subpar quality coupled with not fulfilling the order. Simply ordered a curry with 2 sides of steamed rice and got home to find a 1/2 filled single side of rice that makes this meal a soup with rice floating in it, not a well soaked curry/rice dish. The employees are friendly, just incompetent.

This is a very good Thai Restaurant! The food is always good. I especially like the soups, during the cooler weather ( it's hard to find soup in Canon City).But all their noodle dishes and Rice dishes are excellent. The Owner and Kelsey the Server are friendly and kind.

Price was reasonable, Pad Kee Mao was just right, and the front of house was extremely friendly and helpful.If you even remotely enjoy Thai food you must give them your business!
