Choosing someone else to care for your children is always a challenge. Moving to a new city where you have no referrals makes it even more challenging. Finding a suitable place for child care that meets all your needs can be nearly impossible. At YSA, from the moment we toured the facility, to meeting the staff and teachers, there was never a doubt that this was the place for our kids to be. The facility is as good as it gets. Clean, safe and fun!! My kids love it and are always excited to go. The staff does a terrific job from the moment the kids walk in the door (no matter how grumpy they may be at times) until the moment they leave at making our kids feel at home. They are always accommodating to our needs and are always willing to work with us. Jordan especially does an excellent job communicating with the parents via phone or email about upcoming events or policy changes and is always available for any questions that may arise. The staff at YSA has done an outstanding job making our children feel at home, while making it fun for them to learn as they prepare to move on to the next level of education. The atmosphere at YSA is one of family and we couldn't have chosen a better place for our kids. Child care is one of the biggest expenses for any family, and can be stressful when trying to choose the best place, but when it comes to the safety, education and overall happiness of your children, can you really put a price on that??Ryan Hopkins

I would highly recommend this place to anybody!, I brought both of my kids here over the last couple years and I could not be happier! All the teachers are great. The school is very professional. All the classrooms are big very clean. I don't have any complaints and I am very satisfied. I hope people take the time to try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

This daycare lacks the basic communication required for human interaction. When the going gets tough, the higher up management refuses to discuss issues with the parents. I would not trust them with your child for the constant fear something goes wrong and not know how the staff really treats them when you leave. Compassion is also greatly needed for any single parents or military families. If you are interested in this place, proceed with caution.

This was my Son's first daycare and I was so hopeful after the tour that it would be a great place for him. The staff promised a curriculum in the infant room of baby sign language and art. They promised that they try to follow the schedule that the parents provide to continue to build routines. None of those promises were kept. Many days, there wasn't an employee in my child's classroom when we arrived and I was asked to leave him at the front desk. The staff was not friendly and the director never bothered to introduce herself to me. My husband went to the daycare on multiple occasions and was never greeted by anyone. The infant room is so unorganized that my son consistently came home with other children's belongings and his stuff kept going missing. It became so bad that I started taking inventory of everything I brought in the morning. The employees don't use supplies appropriately and are extremely wasteful. I witnessed the employees using five to six wipes to clean a wet diaper and not even bother to unfold them. They applied diaper cream to my son as if it was lotion and when they lost his wipes, they used paper towels on his bottom causing a horrendous diaper rash. They let my child sleep all day and wouldn't wake him to change him or feed him. They claimed he was too little to do any art projects. We were paying over $1000 a month and not receiving the services we were promised, so we moved our son to Primrose. I pay less money for daycare every month and my son is better cared for now.

Jordan and the entire staff are incapable of child care. My nephew attended this poorly managed excuse for a day care for less than a year. The staff never took the appropriate measures when we expressed our concerns over my nephew coming home with bruises. Instead of communicating with us they avoided confrontation and put my nephews belongings in a trash bag when we decided to take our services else where. We attempted several times to resolve the issue and the entire staff avoided us. Don't waste your time or money, your children deserve so much more.

Absolutely a horrorable daycare. We registered here a few months ago and were told all these great things. In reality, what you get is no education for the kiddos, subpar communication, no contact with your kids teachers and harassing emails from the director if you dare bring up any concerns. I brought up some issues and next thing you know I get a barrage of unprofessional emails from their director. None acknowledging the issues much less fixing them, instead they try and take hits at you for delaying telling them. I have reached out to the owner, and got crickets. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONALALY RAN BUSINESS NOT WORTH HALF OF WHAT THEY CHARGE IN TUITION.

Young Scholars Academy (YSA) is hands down the best daycare/early learning school you can send your child to. We toured several and none came close to YSA. The facility is always clean and they do fun activities and holiday events throughout the year. Their curriculum is amazing (our kids are growing educationally so fast), the food meals are incredible, they have cameras so you can peep in at your kids during the day, you get daily notices about what the kids did that day. Yes, it's expensive, but all daycares are and your money goes so much further here than the other ones we looked at. Daycare expense is a temporary cost and your children are set up so well for their childhood through this school it makes the cost so worth it. I would HIGHLY recommend YSA.

When we first found Young Scholars we were so excited! The room my daughter was going to be in was a little unorganized, but we totally understood. We called a few times to see if the waitlist had any changes and the receptionist was rude on the phone. I went into the daycare on a different occasion and I witnessed the director screaming at some employees right in front of me. From what I gathered she was livid over the internet being down. We talked to a lot of people who said that Young Scholars is the worst daycare they have ever taken their child to. Like those parents, we decided to take our daughter to a different daycare with an actual positive environment. We called to see if we could get our deposit back and Leslie informed me that it's not refundable because they had to turn kids away while they saved a spot for my daughter. This was confusing being as my daughter was on the waitlist for the next available opening, march 2017, and the waitlist currently extends until May. To me, a waitlist is a list of families waiting for a spot so I asked Leslie if the waitlist goes until May shouldn't they have a family to fill the spot that would have been my child's? She said no and that's not how a waitlist works. So I asked her to explain it and Leslie continued by calling me stupid. I asked to be transferred to the director, who apparently was out for the day, and we are still waiting for a call back. We didn't even make it to my daughters start date because the staff were so rude. I will be filing a formal complaint.Because Jordan commented about it. I did apply to work there and was offered a position, however, after reading some bad reviews, having bad experiences personally, and hearing horrible stories I decided to turn down the position. But it's cute that she is saying that didn't happen, when the voicemails offering me the position and the new employee paperwork I was given say otherwise. Good try, Jordan! So unprofessional.

I thought Young Scholars was a dream come true. My son had awesome teachers however there are practices that leave a lot to be desired. I'm not sure how you may all view this but to have my child eat off of unsanitary brown paper towels placed on carpeted floor traversed by hundreds of people, is totally unacceptable. Per the director Ms. Jordan, when I shared my concerns, this is their practice and she and her team will not change this. I was invited to seek care elsewhere. I am accepting this offer. I suggest you find somewhere else that will treat your kids like human beings with dignity and respect and will entertain your concerns.as it relates to child safety especially where food borne illnesses are concerned.
