We love dumplings/ dim sum. I saw this place had a good selection to choose from plus great reviews. We went on Christmas Eve after our Church Eve service. Walking in the front door of the Tea shop we were overwhelmed with tea choices. On the left looked to be a to go order for drinks and on the right is the restaurant. There were tables on the raise floor so you can take your shoes off and sit on the floor to eat. As you go farther back to a counter when you place your order. We had no clue but in order to sit at a table you have to pay $5 per person for the tea experience. You go and pick your tea, they will help you by asking what you like. Go back to your table and they make your hot tea. Pretty cool! We were pretty hungry so we tried Xiao Long Bao, Rice Pearl Meat Balls, Family Recipe Summer Rolls, Juicy Chicken Buns, and Taro Shrimp Fried Jin Gao. All were homemade and delicious. The food does not come out all at the same time so you have time to enjoy each one and not fill rushed. A great fine!

As someone who lives and grew up in southern CA, I never expected to come to Colorado Springs for dimsum, but it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. To be fair, the food was a 2/5 which is to be expected given the fact that it was all reheated frozen food, but the experience was a 5/5.I HIGHLY recommend you do the tea tasting experience which is $5 per person and for our group of four, they let us pick 3 different teas with unlimited brews. It was so much fun exploring the plethora of tea options and having them brew it tableside as we sit on tatami mats with our shoes off (of course). Our server was amazing and listening to her talk about the various teas brought a touch of authenticity to our tea experience in Colorado. Overall, I recommend coming for the tea, but not necessarily the food. If you're in Colorado Springs and craving an immersive tea journey, this spot is a must-visit!

I love how you can pick out your teas yourself and there's wide variety of different kinds of teas. My husband and I ordered 4 different kinds of food options; dim sums, pork buns, and wontons soup. The food was meh as it tasted like they just heated them up. We believe the food was premade or frozen as we kept hearing the microwave, which was disappointing. I would only recommend this place to try out the teas that they have.

A friend scheduled us here for a hangout and I was fascinated with all the tea they have. It was a little hard for me to find since I don't really go to OCC, luckily my friend came to the rescue! There's parking around and behind the building although is not that big since there's other businesses in the same plaza, but there's plenty of space on the road. Upon entering you could already see all the different kinds of tea they have and tea sets for purchase (I wanted to buy everything). We ordered food (dim sum style and they have both vegetarian and meat options) and then we set off to find the tea we were going to enjoy. I picked the lychee oolong and my friend picked the Japanese sencha green tea. It was har to pick since there's so much. Once we sat down one of the very knowledgeable servers came to the table to prepare our tea and told us a bunch of amazing facts about each of our teas (so amazing). Then the food came along and as we sipped on tea and spilled the tea we enjoyed some buns and dumplings. Would love to come back and visit here to try other delicious teas.

One of my girlfriend's favorite places. It was my first time experiencing a tea ceremony. It was so peaceful and the tea was great quality. We also ordered a few small bites: wonton soup, soup dumplings and steamed buns. All were delicious. The staff were amazingly polite and happy to serve. I appreciate the tea experience very much.

Here's the thing: who you are affects what I write for you. Are you a:**Local or casual visitor or visiting parent of a college kid hoping to have a brief meal, some standard dim sum and a pot of tea with a helping of Chinese tea history? Then this is your place. The dim sum selection is solid, the food (tasting as if it is steamed from frozen, but still well-made and tasty) is good, the tea selection is impressive (perhaps a hundred varieties of loose leaf). The staff are eager and attentive. They have interesting stories about the tea you selected and the ceremony they perform for you. It is an enjoyable experience. **Tea snob or expert seeing if this measures up to spotless highly rated tea houses in New York or California or the Pacific Rim? Sorry. Not quite that caliber. This is not that. The tables are aging and not quite spotless. The carpet having hosted countless shoeless feet are of unclear cleanliness. The utensils are pretty clean... The food is clearly not made in an onsite kitchen. The tea selection and brewing is good, but not remarkable. A good place for a casual visit, not a great place to seek out. Overall I still recommend it as an interesting experience for most folks. We had an enjoyable visit.

This place is incredible! My husband and I came in for the first time today for a little anniversary date. We were kind of confused and unsure what to do but the staff were so helpful and friendly and helped us along every step of the way. The young lady with peach hair (SO CUTE) even gave us trivia bits and health benefits about the teas we picked while she poured them for us. Everyone was super friendly, chill, and helpful. Love the vibe here. We now have a new spot to bring friends who visit from out of town! And of course, the food was delicious, but the little spring rolls we had were totally my favorite!

As a tea and dim sum lover, this place was awesome! We had a group of 4. They let us choose 3 teas that could be brewed up to 3 times in the pot. Tea cups were tiny so there were a lot of refills but kind of fun that way.I thought everything we ordered on the dim sum menu was great. One memorable one was the rice meatballs (unpictured). Unique item that one doesn't usually see, but very tasty. Would absolutely come back.

Love love love this place! Been coming to yellow mountain since 2019. One of the best tea houses I have ever been to. I always recommend the chicken dumplings but you can't go wrong with anything. It's cozy and comfy inside. I love sitting at the tatami tables. And there's got to be hundreds of teas and blends to choose from at any given time.
