One of the best libraries I have come across! Great service, spacious, comfy chairs and a place to study near big windows to a beautiful view, accommodating for students and families. Free internet (you have to click accept on the pop-up screen), and it is 10c for black and white and 25c for color to print (just ask the front desk for your documents after you print at one of their computers). They have an excellent selection of books, some for sale downstairs, the atmosphere is geared toward family/kids, and everything about this library is clean and well-organized. It was a great place to study!

The principal reasons for my 2 star rating:1. THE HOLDS ARE BEHIND THE COUNTER. Super inconvenient and completely unnecessary. Every library I've visited in the last 10 years has the holds shelving open to patrons for self pick up. Not here. Here you step back in time by a few decades to a bygone era where you must wait in line, then wait some more for a clerk to scan your card for you, walk over to the super protected bookshelf behind the counter to your highly guarded library requests. Then you must wait again while they slowly search for your holds for you. Then you get to wait some more while they leisurely check them out for you. They do all this for you because they and they alone hold the magical ability to do this. WP Library please enter the 21st century on this!!2. THE PARKING. It's oddly configured and only has a few prized spots that are convenient to the entrance where a surprising number of individuals will cut you off in order to obtain one. And when those are full, which they usually are, you get to choose from the remaining parking spots which are a considerably inconvenient trek to the front door, especially when it's raining or snowing. 3. THE MATERIALS SELECTION IS LIMITED. I don't know why other reviews say the selection is so great. I have not found that to be the case, as I very rarely find what I am looking for. And even though borrowing from remote libraries is an option, I still come up empty handed too often when searching for fairly common titles. 4. THE STAFF. Some of the staff are just plain rude, particularly the grumpy elderly man with white hair. Due to these things, I am disappointed with this library and don't utilize it as much as I would otherwise like to.

We absolutely love this library. There's a great selection in each section, with incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff to assist with whatever you're looking for. The circulation, reference and children's desk staff are always phenomenal. This branch is beautifully appointed and conveniently located in town. What sets it apart, though, is the wealth of additional activities and services available to all patrons. Our kids really love the summer reading program, movie nights and guest author/lecturers. The teen room is a fantastic place for them to relax and read, or do some gaming with friends. My youngest also loves the children's area, with cozy seating and whimsical features like the tepee to hang out with a good book. The Lego room is a blast, and allows them to be creative in a safe space with their friends. The online resources are amazing, as well. We've recently discovered Rocket Languages, a free online foreign language primer provided by the library district- it's amazing. It cannot be overstated how wonderful it is to have such a fantastic library in our town- we appreciate everything they do and look forward to each new adventure.

It's a small town with a big library. I can always find what I want and if they don't have it locally they borrow it from another library within the system. The staff is very helpful. One of my husband's wishes was to do a lot of reading once he retired. The library granted his wish. Lauri showed him where he could find the rest of a series he'd long wanted to complete and offered many other recommendations that he enjoyed. Edna Wehrsdorfer
