I think I am missing something with this Farmer's Market. I cannot tell you how many people have said this is the best farmer's market they have every been to. I went for the first time last week, and it was disappointing.First- there were only 2 stands with actual fresh fruit and vegetables. There were about 4 stands with baked items, and a few other stands (about 6) with homemade small business items such as dried pasta, tamales, jams, homemade dog treats, organic meat, etc. However a good 85% of the stands were merchandise and advertisement items. It was just not what I expected. For a farmer's market I expected a lot more fresh fruit and veggie stands that are locally grown by the sellers. 1 of the 2 stands admitted they bought the fruits and veggies to sell at the farmer's market, and did not actually grow the items themselves. And the prices were triple what they are in the stores for organic items.Maybe this is what people think Farmer's Markets need to be, but this is not my experience when I have visited other markets.Disappointed and not going back.

Went there Aug. 12, 2022. VERY overpriced and VERY poor quality on everything!-- Palisade peaches super-expensive (8 peaches for $10!) and mediocre to lousy-- Watermelon tremendously expensive ($15!); only one vendor had any at all and he was engaged in price gouging. We did not buy one.-- "Olathe corn" looked diseased -- half of two cobs we bought each had to be carved away; rest of corn marginally edible-- Rocky Ford Cantaloupe soft and tasteless (and cost $7!)You'd do much better, and save tons of money, by going to City Market, even in an era of Bidenflation. On the plus side, lots of prissy "show dogs" to gawk at.

Had a hard time finding it but it was a nice setting with lots of vendors. My biggest ding was why do you close at 1:00! It was in a beautiful park and there were hundreds of people yet 1:00?! Maybe you are trying to force us "tourists" to head downtown but why that time?

The Woodland Park Farmers Market has been an annual event for over 25 years! It's won awards and has 84-100+ vendors at the outdoor summer market. Lots of produce, baked goods and food trucks/vendors for breakfast or lunch!
