Springs Waste, now its personal.I have posted here that Springs Waste will not answer their phone. I called for a month to try prove to them I was a customer and wanted to pay them to resume service. They never answered their phone or returned any of the numerous messages I left. I left them messages for another month to pick up their trash cans after I switched to Infinite disposal. As I have said here many times and told them on their answering machine that if they did not pick up their trash cans I was going to put them on the curb and post a "free" sign on them to get rid of them. I was nice and waited until trash day today to do that. The passive agressive driver that I have never met drove by at 8:00 AM, stoped, and took a picture of my "FREE" signs. When I got home this afternoon my trash cans were gone. But whoever picked up the cans turned them over in the street to leave what small amount of pine needles was left in them on the street. There was also two puddles of paint that dripped off of their truck as seen when you click on the picture. WTF??? I have never been mean to the driver and never been rude on the phone. If they never answer the phone how can I be rude? Why are they turning trashcans upside down leaving trash and puddles of paint on the street in front of my house??? This is not mafia New York. I do not have to subscribe to a company that uses these tactics. They cant intimidate me. Click on the picture to see what little trash I left in all three of their precious trash cans. There are three straight lines of pine needles where you can see they turned over three cans. How petty is that? One was a recycle can that they turned over, so much for the environment. You can also see the puddles of white paint that dripped off of their truck when they stoped to pick up their trash cans. Infinite disposal was nice enough to dump all three Springs Waste cans that they refused to pick up. They gave me my first month free for signing up. They are half the price. Last week I was on a family emergency in Salida and could not put my trash out on the curb. The nice TWO guys on the truck took the effort to go up next to my house and empty my cans even though I was not home. I still do not know why Springs Waste treats me so bad. But what I do know is that Infinite disposal is half the price, an infinite amount of times better at customer service and are actually a joy to deal with. As a plus I dont have to pick up the trash that they leave in front of my house or clean up the paint dripping off of their trucks. You have a choice. You can hire a company that really does not know you are a customer, have a guy sitting in his trash truck giving you trouble if your trash is not 100% as he likes it, and deal with their mafia like intimidation tactics. Or you can deal with a local company that is friendly, half the price and employees twice the number of people that are truly happy to see you. I have better things to do than fight over garbage with a company that really does not even know I even exist. I have better things to do than talk trash on the internet. 0 stars:Recently bought out, by 'Don't Care & Tough Luck Inc.'They Constantly miss deliveries not one or two but all the time unless you call ahead each week. Then when you call to address this, they play the 'thousand pardons', "we're understaffed" game. Until you ask for reimbursement for a service you didn't receive, then it gets real...WM is 20% cheaper and has actual professionals running their cooperation...

Since they bought out Springs Waste Systems in April 2020 they have gone up in price 30% and the quality of service has gone down hill. They constantly miss pickups. I do not recommend them.

When we first moved to our new house, the previous renters had used Springs Waste. The trash can was left in front of our house. I'm not sure if they cancelled their trash service, but we moved in September 2021. Upon moving in, we talked to several neighbors, heard how bad Springs Waste was, and got recommendations for a different trash service. Since then, I have called Springs Waste Systems 3 times, leaving a very detailed voicemail each time, requesting that the trash can be picked up since we do not use their service. I've gotten no responses, even though I've seen them picking up trash at neighbors houses occasionally. I'm at the point where I will have to fit the dirty trash can into the back of my car, drive 20 minutes to their location, and drop it off. I'm glad we dodged a bullet by not using their service but I'm ready to get this eyesore out of my driveway that's been there for 9 months!

Hilarious that the business is located on Reliable Cir. I can't get anyone to call me back and all I want to do is give them more money for more services. Not sure why and they won't allow you to stay on hold, it sends you to voicemail. Which is not helpful if they don't check it.

Consider that a negative one star, rude, never return calls, threaten to send to collection if not paid timely. Umm that's illegal. Just all around lousy trash company. I had to call three times to cut service and the cheapskates don't refund partial quarterly billing. We'll see what the AG and BBB have to say. Please home somewhere where your business is appreciated. Springs Waste Systems can go to $&@l!

I am a senior citizen and on 11/7/24 we set out our garbage and after 9am we get a call saying they will pick it up on 11/8/24 due to snow. We have a long driveway and its dangerous to be going up and down in icy conditions. Today 11/8/24 we called got an agent, gave them our location before we set our garbage, and they told us to set it out even though it was going to snow again. They didn't come again, and we drug the can back up the icy driveway. I can understand why you didn't pick it up. Why did the agent send us out when they know they weren't going to pick up our garbage? Why no call?

Another total failure to pick up our Wednesday pickup trash this week. No phone call, nothing. I had a couple of extra cans but some one could have called me or charged me extra. No call. I called their customer service and reported the problem and one rep clarified the service but I was told I would get a call. No call, nothing even though I advised them we have bears in our neighborhood. This company was a a great company for many years before they were bought out by the current owners. You can see from the low ratings. There are good providers in Colorado Springs, my current experience is making me find one.

Two weeks in a row no trash/recycling pickup. No returned call from last week. Big zero!

Abysmal. Constantly missing pickups. Bad weather? OK, maybe. But they have failed to pick up at least 1 out of 5 times in the past year.Last straw: they just cut recycling pickup from weekly to every two weeks AND raised their rates.They have started answering the phone lately (first quarter 2022). Beyond that there is nothing good to report.
