How these jokers left the dumpsters today. Disappointed in the poor quality of such a simple task.
Trash can in the middle of my driveway.
This wonderful guy must have thought I forgot it was recycling day so he came and took the 3 little items out of my bin. So sweet!

I get it! I understand the bad reviews lately but I also understand that just about every business is understaffed and overwhelmed. My recycling hasn't been picked up since August. I tried to call last Friday and became so frustrated when I just wanted to speak to someone but the lines went directly to a voicemail. I finally left a message after I reached out on their website 3 weeks ago and sent an email last week. No response. I finally called again yesterday (Tuesday) mid-day thinking there has to be some time of the week where they are not as busy and can answer the phone. I waited on hold for 20 minutes and finally spoke to a representative. She was very understanding!! Maybe because I didn't immediately start screaming at her, demanding someone come out right this minute, or a refund. I simply asked what was going on because I haven't had a pick up in weeks. She was honest and told me they are very short on employees, I get it!! She said she could see my last pickup and applied a credit to my account without me asking for it.I also brought up the fact that not only have they missed my pickup but, they have been calling me at 6am EVERY saturday since with an automated message that they were unable to get here for unforseen circumstances... She told me she is able to go directly to the source of that call and express how unwelcome that is at 6am on a Saturday morning lol!The best and the worst part of our conversation.... she told me I was a breath of fresh air. Me, the person calling with a complaint... fresh air. It makes me so sad to think how many people are calling screaming their heads off like we aren't all living through a pandemic together! Like the employees who are currently working and doing a great job, wake up every morning excited to serve you while you tread all over them. PLEASE PEOPLE, for Pete's sake, be kind to the humans on the other end of that line doing their absolute best.

Driver did not pick up my trash today because he said can was too close to my parked truck. Driver took the time and effort to take pictures however could not simply move my trash can a couple feet. Office said they would need to charge $35 for driver to come back and pick up trash. I would recommend replacing the driver with someone that wants to work. Office said they will note the driver that next week he will need to pick up extra bags next to our trash can at no additional fee. Poor service all around.

Scam. Charged for 3 months in advance. Service starts one month late with repeat missed pickups. I called multiple times and I was told service "never added to route" & we would receive credit for period missed. At the end of the 3 months they sent a bill for the next 90-day period. No credit. I refuse to pay because Im not in the business of paying for a service I dont receive & requested credits promised. Nor am I going to babysit the trash company every 2 weeks to do the job they were prepaid to do. Talked to one rep who confirmed multiple missed pickups. Another emails said only one & offered a $5 credit. No thanks. Come pick up your containers. Took them months to pick up. Sent a text at 9pm night before saying to put them out. I have them on camera- They took months old trash out the container & put it in our empty ones serviced by the new provider. So even in the final moment- wouldnt collect the trash we paid them to. HIGHLY Unprofessional and possibly illegal to dump trash in a container unauthorized to use. I will definitely be escalating my concerns. Please avoid and use another company.Update 1/29/25: Despite having their containers back- they sent another $90 bill claiming its "past due." So yes STILL billing for a service they couldn't possibly be giving. Document and record all your communications with this sham business. So when they scream collections you're protected. I did!

Horrible service they do not inform you of a no pick up for weather, and it is a NO PICKUP if there is bad weather and no reschedule for that no pickup and they still charge for the service that was not preformed. If you are late with your payment you get no reminder through text or email but you get a $30 dollar charge For admin fee. I didn't sign up for their service but they bought out the contracts from the company I was doing business I was using when they went out of business. Overpriced and unreliable.

I have been a customer for over 19 years at the same residence. Over the years, I've watched the price of my service go up. It started seeming to get extremely high but i passed it off as inflation. My last bill for 1 can per week for 3 months was $162.00. I decided to start looking around. I found the same service for $59.00 every 3 months. I called Waste Connections to cancel service. I told them i found the same service for over $100.00 less. They asked what i was quoted. They said they could match it. What? Almost 20 years and you just keep jacking my bill up because i always pay? Why didn't you always give me your best price? There should be laws against charging different people different amounts depending on what they will pay.

Only thing good about this company are the people actually picking up the trash. The customer service is rude and unhelpful. I have bank statements and phone logs of me contacting this company AND paying. Then I was told that because I used the automated systems to actually maybe the payment it took them days to process it so they would charge me an extra fee of $30 on top of my regular bill. They will constantly change your pick up days, not pick up and, inflate prices. I was warned not to use this company. I should have listened. Hopefully, this review will be helpful to someone else

This company is horrendous with notifications of cancellation for weather. It has an app we have on our phone that we are supposed to check on bad-weather days, but they never update it in time to be useful. Today we are under a winter weather warning after having a bad snow day yesterday, yet there was no information on the app early this morning about cancelling pickup today. We cannot assume there will be no pickup, because they have picked up when we thought they would probably cancel. So, we dutifully had our trash in our dumpster and the dumpster at the curb by 7:00 A.M., as we are required. Normally, our pickup is about 8:45 A.M., and about 8:50 A.M. we finally received a phone call that there would be no pickup. Then, it is not just a matter of dragging the dumpster back from the curb. Because of bears we cannot have food trash outside, so we drag the garbage back into the garage and get the food trash back out and put it back in suitable storage. There is no excuse I can comprehend for not communicating more effectively, especially when it would only require updating an app we are supposed to check.

I realize I'm the odd one out here, but my experience with Waste Connections has been nothing but stellar. I recently switched from Republic Services (who used to be GFL, who used to be Tri-Lakes) and the customer service has been excellent so far. Tyler (territory manager) was prompt and professional and went above and beyond during the transition. I will certainly update should things change in the future, but for the time being I'm a happy customer.

This company failed to pick up our trash after the Marth 14th snowstorm. It's been out since last Thursday and Friday. Now they're telling us to wait until this Friday. We have 255 units. Now we look like a third-world slum with overflowing trash cans, sacks of rotting food, dirty diapers, boxes and blown trash everywhere. This is a sanitation/public health crisis, not to mention all the vermin that are being attracted. Don't do business with them.
