Villa Parker

Lovely venue! Orchestrated schedules went well. The staff was amazing. Friendly, but kept things moving. Would recommend this location for medium sized gatherings.

Villa Parker is a beautiful venue! This was the 5th wedding we'd done with our kids and the first official venue, WITH a coordinator! The venue was great but the details we expected with the extra cost were lacking. The outdoor speakers didn't work, we had to find the coordinator to close the garage door just minutes before our daughter was set to walk down the aisle, and the expensive "attended" drink service we paid for was just sodas in an ice bucket, unattended. I emailed my concern and was told the owner would reach out. After numerous emails, it's been 6 weeks now, no phone call or offer to compensate us for the disappointments. I wish I could give a glowing review, but we're disappointed. For the last wedding in our family, we'll save the money and do it right ourselves.

Villa Parker is a beautiful venue with shady business practices. I booked a wedding a year and a half in advance and when My fiancé and I decided to get married in Hawaii, we wanted to work with Villa and come to a happy agreement. Obviously we would forfeit our deposit and that's totally fine. When we notified to business of our decision (over a year in advance) it took them 4 MONTHS to respond to our inquiry. Then they told us we still had to pay the remaining balance even if we gave up our date. In the end we settled in the middle and paid the remaining half, not including our deposit. They said we had to do this because they didn't have time to book another wedding for that day. They would have had plenty of time had they responded in a timely manner. Also, I have confirmed that they in face DID book a wedding for the same date. They just wanted more money from us.

Very beautiful venue and great communication at the start. Unfortunately we ended up attempting to switch venues about a year out from our wedding date, and communication started falling apart from there. After reaching out to discuss options, we spoke with their liaison (front desk coordinator?) multiple times, but we were always told that we would have to wait for the decision of the owners. We would again contact the liaison every week to two weeks, even offering alternatives like finding someone to take our date for them! We kept getting the run-around, waiting for an answer from the owners. Four months later (8-9 months our from wedding date), we get a response that they would not have enough time to book another wedding, and we would need to pay a remaining balance.We ended up settling, of course losing our deposit, but paying a couple thousand more to 'surrender' our date. Thennn they ended up booking someone else for that date no problem. TLDR: Great venue if you do not have any hiccups, but customer service is lacking. Your adventure may end up better than ours though! Two stars only because it's a beautiful place.

I had both positive and negative interactions with Villa Parker. The biggest take away is how inflexible and inconsiderate they have been throughout the pandemic. While every other vendor allowed us to postpone our wedding with no consequences, it was a battle at every step with Villa Parker. Originally, in March of 2020 they were not allowing couples who had wedding dates beyond June to postpone. When it came time to evaluate if we needed to postpone, they said that since we were allowed 50 people (according to the county - we had originally invited 200) we did not qualify to postpone - and if we opted to - we would need to pay the ENTIRE $6500 fee again. It took multiple emails and conversations to get them to accommodate moving our wedding date from a peak season date to an off-peak season date (mind you - there is a $1500 difference that they did NOT reimburse or apply to other expenses). - My biggest caution is to NOT book them if you foresee ANYTHING at all happening that may require you to change/cancel your wedding date. - We did not foresee anything... then a worldwide pandemic hit.On a positive note - the reason we fell in love in the first place is that the venue is gorgeous. I was initially ecstatic for the blooming trees and florals in the garden that (should have) been present during our end of summer wedding. Unfortunately, these were not in bloom during our wedding as we moved from peak season to off peak season. - The getting ready suites were perfect and we very much appreciated being able to drop our stuff off the night before and get it partially set up. The day of coordinator through Grace and Co was amazing and was able to accommodate all of our needs and was a great support to have leading up to and day of the wedding.

Where do I begin!?Villa Parker was the first site visit for a wedding venue my now husband and I had. After visiting, we cancelled all other appointments and booked Villa Parker for our March 17th wedding! It is an absolutely beautiful venue all around. Every backdrop is insanely gorgeous and you really feel as though you've been transported to another country. More importantly than the gorgeousness of the venue, is how amazing the staff is. During the months leading up to the wedding, I always felt welcome to contact the staff with any questions or concerns I had. Erika was always so helpful and quick to respond and Amanda was so amazing in giving guidance concerning bar packages & floor plans. I ALWAYS felt taken care of and never as though I was just another bride. Our final walk through and rehearsal was executed flawlessly with Erika in charge. She makes you feel so at ease and you don't have to worry about anything. The day of the wedding was even greater than the months of help leading up to it. When you book Villa Parker, you are also granted day of coordination from Marilee & Grace. These ladies are absolutely AMAZING!! They do everything, and I mean everything. My vision that I had in my head for the past 12 months were becoming reality right before my eyes! They were more than happy to hang banners & wreaths, set out chargers & menus, and making sure all the special touches I had wanted were present. They also took such good care of me and my girls while we were getting ready, providing us with anything we needed at all. Our day was flawless and Villa Parker is mostly to thank! I would choose this venue over and over again! Thanks for everything!

Absolutely the best and prettiest place to have an event, especially a wedding! Our daughter got married here this past March 2017 - there's not much to say except PERFECTION!!

LOVED our experience here! I actually hosted a 3 day, private business retreat at the Villa and they were so helpful and accommodating. Kelsey was amazing in helping me plan everything and get all our details sorted out. The space was absolutely stunning and created such a beautiful area for us to work, have presentations, small group break out sessions, photo shoots, yoga, happy hour and more! This truly was a spectacular place for my event and I couldn't have been happier with the staff and assistance provided!

Villa Parker Cultural and Event Center is located in Parker, Colorado and is a 30 minute drive from Elevate Photography's studio. The Mediterranean styled villa sits atop a meadow looking over the open range with views of the distant mountains. Inspired by its original private owners, the Villa's warm and inviting spaces make guests feel relaxed and at home. The bridal suite is quiet and tastefully decorated. It offers ample room and alot of mirrors for hair and makeup. Both indoor and outdoor ceremonies are possible given the couples needs and the time of year. The great room can be used for both the ceremony and reception in cooler months and the private terrace makes for a great outdoor ceremony.Inspiration for photography comes easily here with the many unique spaces and architectural embelishments. Natural light is available in many of the spaces that make for great candid portraits. The west side of the villa boasts multiple archways and a patio layered with large elm trees. The property sits on an acre of land next to an open field that faces west. The field offers opportunies for great portraits with bridal parties, expecially large ones. The real charm of Villa Parker shows when the sun sets and the warmly lit spaces inside glow as the dinner and reception begin. Guests will feel at home and be ready to dance the night away in the great room.

We found Villa Parker at the suggestion of our photographer, Tony Clapp. Villa Parker is absolutely breathtaking, especially during the summer. There are so many beautiful photography opportunities--the grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of flowers and options for indoor/outdoor lighting packages to add extra flair. We are thankful we spent the extra money on the lighting package we chose! Our main interactions with Villa staff were with Kelsey, until we were assigned our day-of coordinator, Jen, who works in partnership with the venue. The price of the day-of coordinator is built into the venue fee, which was a huge plus of choosing Villa Parker. Kelsey was wonderful to work with. She is professional, kind, accommodating, and always answered our questions with exceptional detail. Jen was fun, collaborative, had fresh ideas and great advice, and made the venue look just as we dreamt it would be. During the event, she watched over every detail and made sure everything was taken care of. It even rained during dinner, and she & her assistant, along with our caterers, were able to pivot immediately to their Plan B floorplan. It was so nice that we did not have to worry about the details of the decor and events of the day!On the business side of things, Villa Parker worked well with each of our vendors, even though some of them had never worked at the venue before. The bartender that Villa Parker provided was also fantastic and kept our guests happy! Villa also has available several decor closets full of easels, signs, candles, candle holders, and other items which we were able to utilize and save a bit of money on decorations. They even let us borrow an easel to take to our ceremony site for our welcome sign. For the decor that we provided, we were able to deliver our items the day before the wedding, which added flexibility for us the day of the wedding. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Kelsey did a very good job with keeping us updated. When we contacted her with questions and concerns about whether we would be able to move forward, she was always compassionate and as flexible as she could be under the circumstances. There came a point where we weren't sure whether we would be able to have our ceremony at a church, and she kept the option of hosting the ceremony at Villa Parker open throughout the planning process. While we were able to keep our ceremony offsite, it was nice to know that we could still have the wedding we dreamed of. The only roadblock we encountered was when we were informed several days before the wedding of an unexpected policy change because of COVID. This certainly created a great deal of stress, but in the end, Jen was accommodating and helped the event run as smoothly as possible during the pandemic.Overall, we had a great experience with having our wedding reception at Villa Parker, and we would highly recommend this venue!
