Vicky's Thai Kitchen

A lot to report here! I had Vicky's thai kitchen last night at the South Pearl Asian food market. I got the pad thai, which was a pretty solid if not average pad thai dish. No major complaints with the food or flavor. The process for ordering / getting food though was very strange. The wait was 30+ minutes and while the staff took my name (and I was under the impression that my name would be called out when my food was ready) once we passed the 30 minute mark I wondered if maybe that wasn't the case. I walked up to inquire about my food and was handed my pad thai & told it "had been ready for awhile". It might be helpful to let folks know to come back and ask - maybe I should have assumed that(?) but typically I do expect when my name is taken that my name will be called out.My only other complaint was that I had a non pad thai noodle in my dish. I have celiac & did confirm with the staff that their pad thai was gluten free (GF) but once I found that noodle I suspected that there was cross contamination as they probably use the same pans for all dishes. Just something to note for other allergy folks :)

Had the thai rice with shrimp and thought it was super good! Wait time wasnt great, but also wasnt bad. Would stop here again

Just tried to do an order in person at little machine I walk up and say hello to be friendly and the younger girl who takes the orders just stared at me and sipped her Starbucks. I was going to order 3 entrees but this customer service is trash!

Had the food truck today and it was absolutely horrible. Chicken was over done, no flavor and overall would never eat at the truck again
