I'm an idiot for paying $100 for a haircut for a Level 6 stylist. Aveda has great products and service but it's expensive. I suggest going with a Level 1 stylist if you need a trim.

Worst experience ever. I am a healthy 54 year old and they wanted me to sign a document releasing them if I lost my hair as a result of their care. I have had my hair treated as long as I can remember, as I'm sure can many people. Ask for their chemical and formula info and move on to a careful provider.

I have been to Aveda salons before, and I am so thrown at how different the quality is. I had an appointment today at Veda with Marisa and I ended up leaving in tears. I was getting my roots touched up for platinum blonde hair; I was left in the dark and didn't get much say with what was going on during the service, such as not keeping me in loop with what toner she was using (I overheard another worker tell Marisa 'thanks for trying that one out for me') and doing what she wanted instead. When I turned around to take a peek at the progress, there was a huge clump of my hair in the sink that she didn't tell me about. When I asked her about it, she admitted she bit off more than she could chew and that she wasn't skilled enough to do the service but took it on anyway. I now have extreme breakage, orange midsections, and black stripes in my hair. I had to go to a different salon to try to maintain the integrity of my hair since Veda Salon didn't offer to fix it. They did comp my service, but I still feel slighted for wasting 7 hours of my day for them to botch my hair completely. It'll eventually grow back, but this is a huge slam to my self esteem. I was treated like a human guinea pig and it's upsetting that this service was going to be $250+ at original price. When I go get something done by a professional, I expect them to guide me in the right direction to the best result, not cross their fingers and hope for the best.

I came in for a cut and highlights. I was very happy with the service and how my hair turned out. A little bit of a lower rating this time around as I felt a bit neglected when I was left alone at the sinks waiting for instructions. It's not typically like that, and it's typically closer to a 4 star rating. However, with the price I expected a little more communication during the orders.

Just awful pedicure service - girl was newer and barely knew what she was doing... Sorry, but you shouldn't have trainees on the floor. I felt bad complaining because she seemed nice, but omg I barely got what I wanted out of the experience. Massage was awful, left my foot full of lotion and put my leather sandal on.... I had to tip toe bc I felt like I was going to slip and she only did one coat of polish and argued the salon asks nail staff to save on product becausr OPI polish is expensive. What? Nails barely filed... no cuticle removal and I had two callus and she barely scrubbed. The scrubbing literally lasted seconds. I was shocked as well on the price tag. Jesus F Christ. Avoid this place...

It pains me to have to write a review like this, but here we go... I found Madison online and was in love with her balayage before and after photos. Since I had not dyed my hair in over 5 years, I wanted to make sure I found the right person who could do exactly what I was looking for. My first appointment seemed to be going okay. It was about a four hour long process and I was with her assistant for a majority of the time. Madison blow dried my hair straight but then curled it immediately so I was not able to see the exact color when walking out of the salon. Afterwards, a couple people told me that the framing around my face looked drastic and the highlighting (painting effect) on left was very "blunt" and did not match the right. After looking at my hair straight, it was obvious that the hair color did not blend well and it was different on one side. ( more color) I called the salon and explained this to them and they set me up with a second appointment with Madison right away. When I came in, I explained all of this to her and her assistant and they disagreed.... I even showed her a picture of what I wanted and she told me that that was going to look even streakier than what I had now. I told her I just wanted my hair to be blended better and to move the face framing down so it did not look so drastic. Instead, she just applied root melt and sent me on my way. Two weeks later, my balayage is a copper red, uneven and my hair is literally snapping in half every time I comb it. I have gone in for a color correction consultation with another salon and three separate stylists there were SHOCKED when I told them how much I had paid for my balayage with Madison. $300!!! They agreed that the balayage looked "amateur" Long story short- I am so disappointed and devastated. I am worried my hair is permanently damaged and I am now having to spend even more money fixing Madison's mistakes. I do believe that she is an amazing stylist, I just think she didn't give me the time and attention needed or paid for.- Sandy, I have come in twice now and my hair is breaking when I brush it as a result. I will not be returning to your salon.

I was on my way to get tinsel put in my hair. I show up and they said well didn't you get our message 1/2 hour ago that we cancelled? I was appalled. I drove across town for nothing. And the worst part was the girl who was the receptionist was not apologetic. She said well we can reschedule and give you half off. I walked out the door.

You can never get ahold of anyone! They will happily be rude over the phone and threaten a $50 cancellation fee but can waste your time and leave a poor excuse for a voicemail. Not to mention one half of my hair is solid blonde and the other half is well blended! For $200+ dollars?! Go somewhere else this place is awful.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Walked in asking for strawberry blonde and walked out with black and white skunk stripes. She attempted to fix it 3 different times and just kept making it worse. I have been sobbing since I left the store. I'm so upset and will never be returning.
