Ute Motel

Very nice to Veterans older motel but very responsible pice one bedroom dorm like room close to VFW 6461 for Veterans needing help

The manager, "Lee" kicked me out in the 1st 30 minutes because my Registered Service Animal was heard barking at 4pm in the day. Because I was going in and out trying to bring in my luggage. He didn't want to give me the reservation once he saw that I had a service animal. "Lee" told me that he didn't have to accept my federally protected small dog. Even though I had all the legal documents. Theoretically, He committed a felony. I do not recommend doing business with a manager that does not respect the laws of the land or honest patrons. :(

The room was clean enough, shower had pressure, and there was no plug for the bathtub. The building is pretty old and the walls are very thin. The train tracks are close and we heard the whistle blasts about 3 times during the night. Ok for a single night. The owners are pleasant and yes, wifi was pretty slow.

We came to stay wasn't sure where to go and found this place. We loved it , was cute, cozy and very clean . Good qualities in these times.. staff was very accommodating and super nice.. glad we found this place.. I would recommend it to everyone..

NEVER EVER STAY HERE. RUN!!! I payed $212 for 3 nights, stayed 1 and was evicted the following morning because of A SINGLE USED RAG. My service animal had an accident in the middle of the night (no grass shady part of town, didn't feel comfortable taking her out as a female alone) and I layed a wash rag over it then rinsed it in the morning. I went out to get breakfast and came back to a very angry owner who proceeded to kick me out, keep ALL of my money, refuse to let me in the room for my things, and threaten to call the cops on me. In the end, I called the cops on him because he threatened to charge me $200 extra for a WASH CLOTH. the rest of the room was completely clean, I had only slept in there for a few hours. Completely irrational unreasonable rude people. Very unhappy. I have videos of the owner calling me rude and yelling at me and saying I was evicted over a towel. Insanity.

This hotel was by far the most DISGUSTING motel we've ever stayed at! We wanted to stay in Fountain close to family that we were in town to visit, The Ute had the best reviews. When we checked in (room 27, upstairs to the left, 2nd from the end, next to a room someone is obviously living in! ) while checking in the employee said if we didn't like the room, come back to change rooms, well we were in a hurry, we mistakenly just opened the door and popped in very quickly, yes it looked old, and run down, but we figured all the rooms would look the same! So we left, we came back at about 12:30 am, very exhausted from our fight and visiting with family, when we got to our room and actually walked in, we realized how udderly disgusting the room was! I don't even know where to begin, there were huge nasty stains on the carpet, 2 pillow cases were almost brown (supposed to be white!) One pillow case didn't fit the pillow so it hung out about 3 inches and was literally brown! Srsins on the sheets! The bathroom was beyond dirty! The tub was so filthy we refused to step into it! I tried to find another place close to move to, however now being in the area, we knew how far away another motel would be (anything better, that is!) And the Ute was full so we had no choice but so stay there.We sleep in the cleanest bed with our clothes on for a few hours then left! We Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

Not clean. Furniture and linens are in terrible condition. AC will not cool room. Exterior is shabby and in need of renovation. Not in a great part of town. You can do much better nearby.

Room is clean. Wifi is super slow. The owners are nice, they take out the trash in the rooms daily. The building itself is old so you can hear everything. It looks like they are slowly fixing up the place though. It's a motel! You get your money's worth I guess.

It is in a shady part of town, questionable long term tenants, rooms are not necessarily smoke free (smell smoke saturated), Wifi was very, very slow. Charged $50 for the room, if you are not concerned about updated rooms, neighborhood, smokey smell, it's okay for $50, otherwise just keep going to Colorado Springs.

My husband and I stayed at Ute Motel for two weeks while apartment hunting. The room we had was very nice and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and are available anytime, night or day. Overall we had a very safe, comfortable stay, and I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!
