I've been with this post office for a year getting mail to the post office box because they don't do street delivery for Elizabeth Colorado. It was rough in the beginning it smoothed out and then within the last two weeks picked up we're constantly getting something returned to sender because they are too lazy to properly sort things or somebody isn't paying attention to the addressing whatever the case may be this is not a situation that I would recommend anyone use the post office in Elizabeth Colorado. It's not worth it save yourself the trouble get yourself a mailbox at the UPS store with the postal Annex it's much easier probably cheaper I don't know but at least then you're guaranteed you're going to get your mail and not have it returned because of whatever the mood of the postal workers at the Elizabeth post office are in.

Poor service & poor customer serviceWill not deliver packages to house (I live 2 houses less than 100ft away from mailbox), makes you go to the post office to pick them up & going there is just awful. Employees have no idea what they are doing and are EXTREMELY rude.When I called to ask why packages weren't delivered to the house, i was told that they never left the post office because it was "too big" (less than 2lbs 12"W x 2"H box) because they hire 3rd parties to deliver mail & they aren't paid to deliver "big" packagesI saw a customer helping the post office worker how to do her job who had no other employees helping the (assuming) new employee.Another time the senior employee even lost my Drivers license after taking it to go get my find my packages. Took 30mins for her to find it and was the only worker there and there was a long line behind me.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! GO WITH UPS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. They are nice, great customer service & actually delivers your packages

I LOVE our post office. You have to get to know the people there, and they are so helpful, relational, kind, and they really do the best they can with all the packages they have going in and out in a rural area. We usually bring a lot of packages, and we've only ever had a few mishaps, and you have to agree that there's going to be a few mishaps with all the packages that go in and out. They are friendly, constantly working on trying to help the customers, and very easy to work with.

I have never had issues with my mail until I moved to Elizabeth. I consistently get other people's mail and my mail is lost. My packages get delivered to someone else and I never get them back. Other times my packages are returned to the post office for me to pick up because my "mailbox is full", which it's not, but the package is actually a box that would never fit in the mailbox to begin with. Sometimes they will bring my package to my door, sometimes they wont. There's no rhyme or reason to it. I never know if I will actually receive anything I ordered. Poor amazon has replaced my orders several times because they say they were delivered but I never got them. I have a camera so I can tell if it was delivered or not. In 6 years I have not once made contact with anyone at the office when I call. It just rings forever. When I've gone In to talk to someone about what's happening they are rude and unconcerned about the problem. I have lost so much money from packages I'm not getting. This is totally unacceptable, but no ones cares.

After calling for 2 days and sending a fax (no one ever answered), I used the "contact us" feature on the website and stated that I called and faxed and that I thought it was inexcusable for a federal employee to not answer the phone. Natalie from the Elizabeth Post Office called me back and stated that she had got my complaint.Then proceeded to tell me, "to clarify, I don't work for you, we don't operate from tax dollars", she called me a jerk and stated that I was entitled because I didn't understand how busy they are the day after a holiday. I told her that every business (who wants to remain in business) should answer the phone when customers call. She hung up on me.Wow! send an email, don't buy stamps, go paperless, whatever you can do to NOT use the Post Office.This is why their reviews are so bad - people like they have at the Elizabeth Post Office. Horrible Customer Service!!

The mail delivery service is abhorrent. I have lived in this area for less than a year and have had more damaged, lost or missing items since June of 2023 than any other time previously. Periodicals that I pay for are always folded with a crease on either cover. A package of checks wat put in my mailbox with my account numbers exposed due to damage to the packaging. These postal carries simply do not care. At All.

I've always had a great experience here. I know home delivery is sometimes not perfect because it's rural and they contract out for drivers. But every time I've gone there for anything the staff is always really nice.

Best post office I've been to . The workers are very helpful and work really hard . I would really recommend this post office and the staff is 100 percent on taking care of the customer. Unless you have some white privilege problems then nothing is ever right in your life. As you can see in the other reviews. Life is too short to trying hurt people trying to make a living.
