US Post Office

Convenient (and only) place for passports near this side of town that I know of and be patient with the lady who does them because she told me no other USPS employee in town will sign up to help her, not cool guys. Help a coworker out! Unfortunately that causes a pretty big back up with passports. Keep in mind that isn't her fault so be patient. With that said, like most post offices the wait is crazy insane! There really isn't a good time to go unless you are cool with first thing in the a.m. Passports aren't until 10 I believe but it opens for other things earlier. Don't expect to "sneak in" when they are ready to close. I can understand that because they would never get to leave otherwise. Here is the secret to quicker service: if all you are doing is mailing something, getting stamps, the basics, there is a post office annex about two minutes north. It is in the strip mall next to Carefree cats and is soooo quick! Otherwise you will have to go to this location. Let's be honest with ourselves, no one likes going to the post office. It's busy, kids screaming and running around, and no please to sit. BUT I've been enough times to see how hard these employees work their tails off. Leaving this review because my food donation was not picked up but service is spotty ALL the time. This was just the straw that...Mail carriers, at least mine, from this location can't seem to finish their route before quitting time. If I see them go down the opposite side of street late in the day, say after 4pm, then most likely won't come down my side. This was "fill up the food banks" day. Saw them deliver Mail and pick up food donations across the street. Never received my expected mail (Informed Delivery) and my food donation was not picked up. This happens more than should be considered normal. The carrier(s) must be standing by the time clock waiting for the whistle like Fred Flintstone at 5:00. My dad worked for USPS for 30+ yrs as an asst postmaster and postal inspector and i know this would never have happened on his watch. Tooooot......yabba dabba doo!!!

Very fast and helpful. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes for a change of address. The staff is kind.

I wish I can give this place a 0 star. They mishandled packages. I dropped off some important documents to get sent over and I was tracking it, but they never scanned it and it never left the site. They offered no resolution or help. How are they still open? I wish they would just close that one if they can't get proper staff. I've never had any issues at any of the locations. Maybe some minor things but nothing like this. Take your mailing needs somewhere else.

Had a great experience today! Steve was awesome. He clearly explained my options and the cost affiliated with each. It was a quick and successful transaction.

I had to come back to get one of my packages resent. I guess I wans't supposed to send prescriptions through the mail without a doctor's note. So they fixed it, and it took like an hour. Can't really complain, but here I am... Nice front desk people.

I had 4 packages of just clothing supposed to be delivered today and they send me an alert saying they've tried delivering all 4, three times and is returning to the sender? I've been home the past 3 days with no attempts. lazy.

Probably one of the most incompetent places I've encountered. Not sure who is managing it, but no one who works there seems to care or take any accountability for anything. Missing packages that say their delivered, writing down last names wrong multiple times so we didn't get our mail, More missing mail, Says there's packages at the facility and then the staff tell you there isn't and don't even check. Just all around useless staff. This place needs a total revamp and some structure.

The phone service is terrible. The mail deliverer put the wrong package in the locker he gave us the key for and has the nerve to insinuate this is somehow our fault. I can go on with poor service experiences. Apparently, you can't give a no star rating.

STAY AWAY! Absolute idiots running this place, called them all day to ask a simple question about a package that couldn't be delivered because my address wasn't verified. At first the dumbass on the phone said he's never heard of that, then he tells me my address is serviced by the Briargate location and I needed to talk to them. Drove 20 minutes to briargate and they informed me that my address is actually serviced by galley location. Couldn't make it to galley in time so my package will be shipped back to sender(overseas) now. Exceptionally rude and uninformed staff, I will be filing a formal complaint.
