If anyone thinks the government knows how to run ANYTHING, just stop by this post office!!! Walked in this morning and there were about 15 customers in line and only ONE employee working ... AND the self service machine was Out Of Order. The person in front of me said he'd been there almost 10 minutes in the same guy was still at the counter, shooting the sh*t with the postal worker.

I'm beyond disappointed with this office. I work Monday through Saturday and often until 7 and 8 at night...I can't come by this office during business hours. I came here one night after work to buy stamps and the machine ate my money. This was last weekThis week, I had a package coming in the mail and it should've arrived Saturday. I check the tracking numbers and it said undeliverable as addressed. The address was definitely correct as I have photo proof. I thought maybe I needed to sign for it... No slip in my mailbox and it was a small package so there's no reason this should have happened. I called and spent 20 minutes on the phone with a recording to reroute the package. The POST OFFICE WEBSITE says this place is open until 530. I get off work early just to be told "no, we're not open and we haven't been open until 530 for a long time." And now my freaking package is being returned THAT I PAID TO HAVE DELIVERED, THAT I TOOK TIME OFF TO PICK UP. This place is a freaking joke

Rude all the way. Had a package with pre-paid postage I was waiting in line to send. I had to rip open the seal when I got there because I had mistakenly sealed the label inside and didn't realize until when I got there. Observed female employee talking with customer she had already completed the transaction with for at least 2 mins with 6 people waiting in line. Manager began asking people in line if he could take anyone's package. I told him what happened and he said: When don't give tape away, we sell it. I left. Will never go here again. Sad to see what beauracracy does to the people whose salaries the taxpayers support. #Fail

Honestly I have yet to experience great service at a US Post Office, funny to think they wonder why the company is debt.These are some of the laziest and slowest working people I have ever seen hands down. The issue is that they can't be fired for poor service since they are union, they just show up to work and hang out it seems. What a freaking waste of employment imo.They act like we OWE them instead of them working for US!!!! If they worked for a real company they would get fired asap.

Since my initial review, I've stayed true to my word and have not been back to this awful place. Last week, I decided to request a pickup for some packages I had to send out. This is usually a very painless process where you fill out a form on the USPS.gov website and the postman comes to pick your packages up when he drops off your mail. I've sent out over 500 packages in the last year for my business, in two different states, in over 5 cities. USPS has never missed a pickup! Wait! Until now...I requested a pickup for Monday, and stayed home between the hours of 11-4 so I would not miss the postman. Long story short, I never got a call and my doorbell didnt ring. However, I got my mail.So, I put in another request for pickup and mentioned in the comments that they missed the first one all completely. I then receive a call the next day from this terrible branch telling me to just leave the package with my lease office because the postman can't ring my doorbell. I've never been told the postman "doesn't ring doorbells" when previously, all mail carriers have done so. I explained that there is no way I'd leave a package that I'm responsible for with a third party that is not liable for it. I was then told,"Well, then can you just bring it to the post office?"THEN WHY WOULD I REQUEST A PICKUP?! Just absolutely appalling service. This post office is run with no standards at all. They just do whatever, whenever, and maybe not even that. I really want to be sympathetic to these employees because I've watched the "Going Postal" documentary, but I have nothing left to say about my recent USPS experience other than these specific employees at this branch are rude and beyond lazy. They create a horrible image and stereotype for USPS employees who actually do a great job.Its a bad look for the otherwise nice neighborhood of Rockrimmon.

Stop smashing boxes it has medical supplies in some of my packets are destroyed. If it's smashed you report it so it can be handled in a professional way this is why postal services may end up out of business.

Received two different prices from two different clerks for the same package. The second clerk only cared about taking an early break and was rude and condescending. She informed me I had to buy a roll of tape instead of providing a small piece of tape for a letter. Penny wise and pound foolish. The Postal Service is losing $6.5 billion for 2023 and projected to lose the same in 2024. I can see why.

I went in last week to mail my passport renewal application and asked for 2-day shipping so it would get there as quickly as possible that wasn't overnight. A week later, it has still not gotten to the destination, it's been held up at a distribution center for four days now. Given that I paid $10 for 2-day shipping and did not receive that service, I called to get a refund. To paraphrase what I was told: "Sucks to be you."The man I spoke with siad that only express mail is guaranteed and that anything else is simply a hoped-for date. So despite the fact that I PAID for 2-day shipping and the person who processed my package (and the name of the service itself) indicated that this would in fact get there in two days, they are neither refunding me nor bothering to get in contact with the postal workers to see where my package is.My PASSPORT may well be lost in the mail yet this post office is doing absolutely nothing to make up for their errors. Sadly I had awful customer service recently here. I had a large package to drop off with pre-paid postage already attached. All I needed was for it to be scanned in and a receipt given to me. The woman working here refused to do so because it was inconvenient for her, even though I stood in line and waited for 20 minutes to be seen like everyone else. I also lifted it over the counter for her with the help of another customer. Then, she suggested I try taking it into the lobby to scan it myself. A very helpful customer helped me get the package into the lobby but we couldn't get it to scan. The woman working for USPS didn't help at all and even after trying it this way refused to do it herself. After spending 30 minutes here I decided to leave the package with the USPS employee who said she would get it scanned in. The package still has not been scanned into the system and I didn't receive a receipt. Horrible customer service. I just hope my package makes it to the destination okay.
