Loved the tour. Our tour guide was a Paralympics athlete herself. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that visits Colorado Springs.

I visited this facility during my 1 week volunteer rotation with the sports medicine team. I loved my experience. The facilities and equipment are top notch and the people are even more amazing. I stayed in the dorms (Oslo) where it kind of felt like college all over again (shared bathroom, barebones furniture), but it was warm and there was even a sink in my room which was super convenient. The dining hall was also great, had a good variety of food and healthy options over the week. We did have some snow but the staff were quick to clear it up and keep the main pathways clear. In terms of the sports medicine side of things, the athletes have access to a super collaborative team of dietitian, sports psych, athletic trainers, strength coach, PT, chiro, massage, and MDs. If they sustain an injury, they can get same day treatment, including diagnostic imaging, injections. Athletes go through a thorough physical during onboarding and include testing such as DEXA, pulmonary function testing, Concussion, etc. In another life as a professional athlete, I'd definitely train here and make the most of all the facility has to offer.

A wonderful landmark to the history of the Olympics and the grit of the athletes that came before. Gorgeous medal halls from the years, interactive games that simulate Olympic events and provide feedback on how you stack up, as well as short documentaries illustrating the history of the past games and the torches from the opening ceremonies

We had a tour here back in December and unfortunately I cannot remember our tour guides name, but it was a great experience! The facts and history you learn while on the tour are so different from what your normal day is like that it is a breath of fresh air to learn something new. These athletes train year round and train to be the best of the best and it makes you proud to support them in their own personal adventures!

This is where many of the US Olympic athletes train as either a resident, or guest, in select sports like swimming, wrestling, handball and shooting. And yes, Michael Phelps trained her for a bit. The tour here steps off at the top of every hour while they are operating. You must show proof of vaccination, which can be digital prior to entering the facility. I actually had to go back to get my proof. There is more than ample parking here at the Center. The tour starts of at the atrium where they have videos of past Olympics playing. Our tour guide was awesome. He was very friendly, funny and knowledgable. The tour includes stops at the complex's workout gym, rehab room, shooting facility, swimming pool, multipurpose gym, wrestling room and a stop at the residence hall. Most stops are viewed from a far and through glass. Pictures are allowed in every area except the rehab area for HIPPA reasons. The shooting building has a photo op with medals on a podium and their is another photo op with a bob sled in the visitors center. There is an overlook bridge that goes over the visitor's center, but it was closed off during my visit. There is also some picnic tables on a plaza area just outside the visitor's center that I think is just for staff and residents. The tour takes you along a nice stroll through the courtyard. Luckily, I visited during a very nice days, which made the stroll that much better. It lasted a just short of an hour and everyone really enjoyed them selves and learned a lot. It was an entertaining and educational tour. Of course the center has a gift shop that is full of Team USA gear. Just outside of the gift shop is a wonderful sculpture garden that features the massive sculpture Olympic Strength. You will know it when you see it. You cannot miss it. There are a few other sculptures, in addition to that one to check out and there is also a winner's podium to pose on as well. I really enjoyed my visit here and the fact that the admission I paid goes towards supporting Team USA makes it that much sweeter. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is a gem that dates back to 1978. It looks great and is well maintained. I highly recommend checking this place out and taking the tour. You will not be disappointed.

This was a cool museum and more interactive than I expected. We went with a group of college kids and they enjoyed it too. The interactive AI interviews were cool and I loved the old Olympic torches and outfits. Trying the bow and arrow electronic targets and racing on the track was fun too. Our group held a dinner in the room upstairs and the food was good and made for a cool ambiance.
