Pros- we were sat immediately and the server was kind.Cons- the combo fried rice was saturated in sesame oil, so much so that no other flavors were there, except the spoiled taste of the chicken. It was a little disappointing that the response to this feedback was--my mom cooked it fresh. Maybe stay away from that dish. The smoked salmon nigiri was solid and so was the tempura udon, though it could have used a little bit of salt. I could tell that they have regulars, so I trust it's a solid spot, just not the best at making fried rice or correcting issues. Ambiance was welcoming and casual.

THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT! I regularly go here because they have such quality food and service. As someone who takes her sushi pretty seriously I would say that it is as good as any restaurant on the coasts. Don't let the location fool you, this hidden gem is something that you won't want to pass up. They are the kindest humans I've ever met and genuinely their fish quality is leaps and bounds better than anything I've tasted elsewhere in town. They even gave me some wontons to try and I didn't think it was possible, but I don't think I have had better wontons anywhere else. The ambiance is great for dates, families, friends, and even solo at the sushi bar. I HIGHLY recommend going here if you're a sushi fan like me.

Food was delicious. Ordered ahead of time so we could hit Garden of the Gods and then make our flight on time. My order wasn't ready when I got there and they told me they never received it. Eventually, they found the order, but it took another 20 minutes to put it together.

I love the food here! My favorites are the avalanche roll I can't remember which number but it's the spicy tuna one that I really enjoy. The food is fresh and I think it's a good sushi place in the area. The service is always great as well.

We were greeted with smiles by two of the staff, and offered a seat anywhere we wanted. They gave us menus and took our drink order. When they brought our iced teas, they also brought complementary miso soup, which was very good. After perusing the menu, I decided to have the Bulgogi bento box with two sides: Gyoza and a California roll. My husband chose the teriyaki salmon Bento box with sashimi and a California roll. We also wanted to try the tempura appetizer. The tempura was very good when it arrived. It had two long shrimp tempura pieces, and four vegetable pieces. Since I do not eat seafood, my husband ate both of the shrimp and one of the veggies. One slightly odd thing was that the tempura veggies included two pieces of carrot, one piece of zucchini, and one of broccoli. The carrot looked like, and I expected it to be, sweet potato. But it tasted good nonetheless.Our bento boxes arrived and were beautifully presented in the large wooden Bento style. The beef bulgogi had lots of vegetables in it, and the box also contained a small cup of white rice, a salad with a slightly sweet dressing, six Gyoza, one California roll, and the requisite pickled ginger and wasabi. My husband's Bento presented teriyaki salmon atop, a bed of cabbage, the same rice and salad, and a California roll along with some slices of salmon sashimi. Another thing I noted was the California roll was somewhat different than I'm used to. It was an inside out roll, which is always nice, and included a slice of avocado and, chopped imitation crab, I believe. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! We look forward to going back and trying some of the other delicious sounding menu items.

This is the best sushi spot I've found in the Springs. It is on my weekly rotation. The best part is the quality doesn't change whether its delivery, pickup, or dine-in. Plus, Jason is very friendly! If you're looking for some recs, the URI House roll is wonderful, so is their Pike's Peak roll. You can't go wrong with the sushi here!

Love this place!!! I was looking for a sushi spot to eat on my way to Denver and found this spot. The interior is well decorated, clean, and cozy! The service was great and attentive as well! Food wise, everything I ate was great! I got a jumbo sashimi boat, tempura udon, yellowtail appetizer, and a sushi burrito for the table. The sashimi was super yummy! However my favorite dish was the tempura udon!!!!! The broth was well balanced and felt like a hug to the soul T^T (so freaking good) . The tempura was perfectly fried as well!
