Urban Tandoor

Incredible food, some of the best Indian food I have tasted in America. I grew up in England and we had Indian food all the time. This is a close second service exceptional. Our server was very attentive, explained some of the spices that my hubby asked about. The chai was out of the world delish. The four of us enjoyed the samosa chat and Pappadam platter followed by chicken tikka masala, Kadahi Chicken, Chicken Tikka Chasni, and lamb curry. The robot was entertaining, nice restaurant not too fancy. Very comfortable for an extended meal. A little expensive but we would def go back.

Did pick up, said to pick up within 30-45 minutes but took an hour. They're not aware if you ordered drinks so I had to ask for it. The food is great, just some incomplete sides like the sauces that normally comes with. I would recommend to dine in definitely but for take out, it wasn't worth it. The place looked nice, not too busy as well!

Love this place!The robot who brings the food is entertaining and the food is excellent!

Service was quick. Server came to take our order shortly after we sat down. Was able to provide recommendations since it was our first visit. Welcoming atmosphere with some cool decorations. The garlic naan was soft and fluffy. Very yummy! The lamb dum biryani tasted a little bland. I asked for medium spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. We liked the chicken tikka chasni more. The meat was tender. The creamy and tangy sauce paired well with the rice.

Food was outstanding- flavors were incredible and deep. Service- not so much. Server was aloof - didn't seem to care. Super clean inside. Loved the interior. Very relaxed but upscale vibe.

We stumbled upon this place by mistake and it was so good we did a take out for dinner later that day! During lunch hours they have idli/ dosa and the sambar that comes with it, is delicious! The goat curry was excellent - reminded me of home. The only let down with the lime soda - I would suggest they use fresh lime and not the plastic thing.The food here is amazing! It will not disappoint

Great find Yelp! I had just arrived to the area after a long long day of traveling. Had no idea what I felt like eating and the Urban Tandoor showed up on Yelp. Reviews and photos looked good, so I ordered to go. Ordered samosas, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. I was really happy with all the food. Everything tasted fresh and was very flavorful. I've been to a few restaurants where the dishes are bland, but not here. The chef did a really great job. It only took 20 minutes, probably less, for the food to be ready. While I didn't eat there, I could tell the restaurant was clean and decorated well and the staff were professional. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Very unique interior design with a random motivation word art that just didn't make thematic coherence to the culture of food. While the cuisine proved delectable and flavorful, the overall dining experience was marred by an excessively protracted wait time, extending to approximately 45-50 minutes before the meal's arrival at my table.Regrettably, the service fell short of expectations, characterized by instances of brusqueness, such as the perfunctory handling of menus and oversight in attending to basic inquiries regarding menu items.

Samson , our waitron. , was a fine -dining wizard ! He elevated our experience from greeting to check presentation , so polished! At his recommendation we switched from our usual Indian food "go to choice" of King fisher beer to trying the 22oz "OLD MONK" beer ,which was a very tasty partner for our meal . Of Note ...we ordered a second round ! This was our first time in at Urban Tandoori, and we wanted some "variety "and therefore choose the mixed tandoori platter & also the Lamb Keehbab . Every dish was beyond exceptional! Including the perfect garlic Naan bread and even the Rice was aromatically spiced and perfect! My fella &I agreed.... An exceptional " date night" .

Absolutely love this place! Traditional Indian at its best. Our server Paul was amazing and accommodating! They have cute robots that serve the food too. Only 4 stars because I recently went and they changed the way they cooked the chicken- it was smoked. Disappointed me because my previous experiences were so delicious! They don't need to smoke the chicken, let the spices be the star! Hoping they go back to the previous recipe.
