There are several breakfast spots that are great in Co Springs. Depends on what you are looking for really. If you are up for the wait (busy) I think Urban Egg is possibly the top breakfast experience. From chicken & the egg to the groundbreaking eggs Benedict served on a tamale with carnitas, the creativity and taste are distinctive and unique. I would eat there everyday if I was rich. I was introduced to a pineapple martini for breakfast which I would have never imagined goes well with breakfast. Haha. But the pancakes! Try the trio and never omit the blueberry strudel pancakes as a choice.

Arrived at 8:20 waited like 10min for a table and we're seated by a kind young gentleman and our waitress arrived to take drink orders immediately. I ordered a coffee immediately & a melon/cucumber/pineapple mint juice. I did not like it but the coffee was delicious. My mom & husband had OJ. We all orderedOmelets we had Denver hubby had one that came with gravy. They were good just a bit bland but nothing a little salt didn't fix. It was kinda strange that the Denver omelet was a hamSteak in the folded omelet. But none the less it was good.

But even though we had to wait quite a bit to get our table, there were empty tables so they probably didn't have enough staff to man the place for such a busy day. But our food! Oh amazing!Steak and eggsSteak was cooked to a perfect medium with just the right amount of seasoning. The loaded hash brown was also crispy and delicious. Protein bowlAsked for the hash brown on the side to keep my keto going, and it was perfect. The meats were a bit salty, but if it had been mixed with the hash brown it would've been perfect. I should ask them to make my eggs without any seasoning next time. Delicious. PancakeThis came as my toast option with the protein bowl... and it deserves its own line. Hands down one of the best pancakes I've had. Probably cooked on a cast iron pan, cuz it was so crispy on the outside and yet fluffy and soft on the inside. The butter was whipped and delicious as well. Yes, I cheated my keto with the pancakes. Overall a "must come back" place!

I came here with my friend for her birthday breakfast and I was really impressed with the prompt service and friendly staff. Our server was amazing and gave my friend a special birthday pancake, which was so nice. This is the 3rd location I've been too and I was impressed with the beautiful space, cleanliness and delicious food. I love the juices that they have available; they have so many healthy options that are delicious and hydrating. I love the beet juice and today I tried the cure, which I loved. I always get the breakfast quinoa. It's so delicious and healthy! I love that urban egg offers gluten free and vegan options. There is something delicious here for everyone!

Ok - Visiting friends in the Springs. 5 of us.... They put us at a 4 seat table, BUT offered us a comp biscuit and gravy and 10% off the bill.I'm a 30 plus year hospitality guy, now retired. Our server was amazing and overall we had a good experience. We have tried several things from here and the food is always good, but I would say this was prob my least favorite as far as the food goes. The southwest Benedict had good flavor but was one more with texture. The Denver hot chicken Benedict was not good. The chicken was super tough and it really didn't have much flavor. I wouldn't order either again but we will be back to try more. Drinks were delish.

Truthfully speaking, I've never had a bad experience at Urban Egg. I love the food and I've been going there long enough for some of the service staff to get to know me. Had time to kill and was recommended to check this place out. Just wow...delicious food, great service, and an amazing view. The servers were so helpful, full of energy, and super attentive. I decided on the Chicken & waffle Benedict and a single Fred's Hawaiian pancake. Never have I ever had a breakfast this good and I was stuffed! I had to take the pancake home, it was massive, but I did take a bite. The chicken & waffle Benedict was the perfect combination of my 2 fav dishes.
