Visited the US Olympic museum in Colorado Springs and it was amazing! I would honestly recommend this to anyone who visits the city, because we have all grown up with the Olympics and it holds a special place in everyone's heart. I loved seeing the torches, medals, and uniforms. I loved that the items there are the 'major' items that everyone knows, like the drum from the Beijing opening ceremony, the 'miracle on ice' scoreboard and uniforms. This museum was new, modern, and well curated. I am grateful that this museum exists and I got a chance to see these important historical Olympic items in real life!

We spent the afternoon at the US Olympic Museum, and it was filled with interactive displays, trivia, and memorabilia. People will enjoy trying their hand at a few Olympic sports in the interactive area that has a short track, archery, skiing, etc. This part of the museum did have some short lines, but it was fun to get the feel for some different sports. My favorite part was seeing the Olympic torches and medals from over the past several decades. Each was unique. The most mind blowing thing to me was seeing the long jump record that still stands almost 60 years after it was set. There are also many displays showing ParaOlympic history, which is amazing as well. The museum covers three levels, and ends with a video room showing highlights throughout the years. It is a bit emotional to see the feeling of victory when an athlete achieves the ultimate goal for their sport. This was a unique and special museum., especially for those who love sports and the Olympics.

Are you missing the Olympics? You gotta go to the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum! We added a last-minute stop to this new museum in Colorado Springs (opened in 2020). It was beautiful, inspiring, & fun! It took you through the entire Olympic process, from a complete collection of flames through an interactive training section, opening ceremony clips, highlights from summer & winter games, a showcase of medals, and a final emotionally crushing video of past Olympians. We spent 2 hours and could have spent even more time. The interactivity is impressive and helps add depth to the story told through the three-floor museum. Beautifully designed, we highly recommend making time for this stunner. Parking is paid but easy by the museum. There is also a small cafe with asian inspired eats.

Went in the summer on a Thursday. New modern 3 story museum. Full torch and medal collection. Exhibits touch on all aspects from clothing, technology, records, paraphernalia and more. Several interactive spots which would be busy and a wait on busy days but only take a couple minutes and are fun to experience. Well laid out and didn't feel right. Parking was only a few dollars for a couple hours, plenty of parking available and it isn't operated by the museum. I would allow 2 hours if you do the interactive parts.

We loved this museum, it's definitely a place that everyone should visit while in Colorado Springs. We've lived here for over a year and a half and it's always been on our list to visit. It was a perfect day because the weather was cold out and we didn't want to keep the littles stuck at home. Our tickets were for 4pm (an hour before closing) and we arrived 10 minutes late. We were told that they recommend going to the second floor since there wasn't much time. No biggie! Lots of things were interactive and the littles had fun learning about the great athletes in the past. We honestly could have stayed longer but we were on a time crunch. There's a short clip to watch in the theater towards the end which brings you straight to the shop.**A great note: If you're a resident of Colorado Springs, you can purchase tickets online for $5 per person. It's for Saturdays after 3pm only, and you have to show your ID when checking in.

This is really a great museum, interactive, super intuitive, high tech, great for all ages. There was a school visiting the day we were there. No issues for us, others may not have enjoyed it as well. Lots of displays and a lot of technology! Would highly recommend!!So my initial reaction to visit this museum was super frustrating. I googled online and everything indicated purchase online and choose your tour time. Nothing suggested being able to buy tickets in person until you walk up to the door. I also went through the phone directory and hoped to reach a live person, only to be told to leave a message and they will call right back. I did not leave a message, too irritated along with the parking you have to use a mobile app. We tried the terminal in the machine but was not working correctly.

A must visit. US Mission Statement; Empowering the competitive excellence and well-being of Team USA athletes, championing the power of sport, and inspiring the nation.History history! The displays are amazing.... The videos and stories - chills. The education value with sciences, nutrition, mental, physical and determination. Yes we participated in the interactive events, pulled a hammy, but finished! You walk out of the facility chest pushed out and a bounce in your step!USA!

Absolutely loved this museum! Very well done and interactive! Goes all the way from the history of the Olympics through modern day athletes and events. At the beginning, they allow you to personalize the museum to events you are most interested in and various exhibits can sense when you are near and give you things you'll enjoy. I loved the part where you got to try various events! So fun! Definitely recommend stopping here if you are into the Olympics at all!

What an experience! I've been anticipating this place for a while and it did not disappoint. There are even significant discounts for students, military, children and more. A regular ticket costs $25. The staff are welcoming and helpful. When they ask if you want to personalize your experience, definitely take them up on it. It's free and takes about a minute to fill out and then you're on your way. There are staff along the way to help guide you and who are also knowledgeable about the exhibits. This museum has a lot of cool stuff and great information. I love the exhibit that recognizes the most decorated athlete in the Olympics. It's crazy how most do not know of her, I certainly didn't. The interactive bits add that extra bit of fun instead of the museum being just fact and memorabilia based. Great for kids and adults! I would come back, especially since there are new exhibits being made.
