Two Bears Tap and Grill

I found this bar 30 years ago when I was on a skiing team. It was called Kermit's. They were known for their green chili. People in the ski community always spoke highly of the green chili. I stopped by there July 2024. I asked about the chili and the past owners. The bartender said the chili is the same recipe. I immediately ordered a bowl. She said, let me go microwave you a bowl. That's when I should have left. While I was waiting I noticed all the dollar bills were missing. Bartender said the fire department said it was a fire hazard. The place is called Two bears. It's everywhere in the bar. Everywhere you look you see their brand. So much of it, it makes you sick. They have bands play on Saturdays 1pm-5pm. No night time bands. Back to the chili. When it arrived I immediately said I asked for the green chili, this is brown. She snapped back saying that's the same recipe. I tasted it, it was so spicy it was hard to eat. I ate several more spoonfuls trying to remember how the hell did we like this shit. I got down about 1/3 of the bowl and had enough. It was the most disgusting bowl of chili I have ever had. I got back into my vehicle and started back driving I-70 west. By the time I got to Grand Junction I was throwing up. That

What a find. Heading to Dillon from Denver and took a scenic drive through the mountains and stumbled across this roadside gem. Rustic tap room with indoor and outdoor dining. An extensive draft beer selection, chili, burgers and apps, bison and wings. Service is quick and personal and the homemade chips are to die for.

Food felt like frozen food just flash fried and took about 45 minutes to get. Crazy long for two burgers and kids chicken fingers. Cool outdoor seating area and good amount of parking in the gravel parking lot but definitely below average due to the food and wait time.

Have loved loved this place for years but a recent change doesn't allow dogs inside or out. Also. We got the onion strings and they are a no go. For $10. Small portion and lacking in .... everything. We won't be coming back sadly.

Found this out of the way little bar & grill by accident. Cool backdrop with the mountains.Staff was super friendly and attentive. We only had one drink and some cheese curds but all was good. We love the outdoor patio seating.We'd go again if passing by!

Stopped in to check out the place after a hike. Overall, just ok. Friendly service, cold beer and clean from what I could tell. The food wasn't great, but my expectations were low being it bar food. The hamburger was over cooked. The bun was way too big for the hamburger patty-which was probably frozen. Tasteless and nothing special. It came with homemade chips, but only got 6 of them. For the prices, I'd skip this place and drive up a few miles to Idaho Springs.

Great outdoor patio and thank you for not allowing dogs. It's a restaurant, I don't get why people need to bring their dogs to a restaurant, whether inside or out. Believe it or not your dog will be fine at home.

I was visiting Colorado and went for a ride in the mountains but it started to downpour. So I pulled off into the parking lot of this little Tavern to wait out the storm.Loved the rustic decor. The server/bartender was fast and friendly. Great conversation. Lots of recommendations for things to do locally.I had a burger and chips. They were cooked perfectly came to the table hot and fast.Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great burger and homemade potato chips. The bun tasted extra special too. Good service. Cute little place. We'll stop in again some time.

$50 to use the restroom. No to-go beverage options. Rude staff that turns away business. What more could you want from a place? And oh by the way, your insistence on paying to use your toilet violates the 2022 Colorado Restroom Access bill (Ally's law). I have a medical condition covered by this bill. A pregnant person, who posted a review not too long ago, also needed to use this restroom, yet she was likewise turned away from the establishment. Really cool of you to discriminate against disabled persons and pregnant people in your establishment!
