selling IPA that is 8 months old is not cool, make sure to check those dates before you buy

Terrible customer service. First time in the store and the last. I asked the guy if he had a certain type of liquor and he said no. I asked do you ever get it and he said it would be in the case and walked away. I was surprised he said it would be in the case because the bottle was around $20 to $25. When he finally came back with customers waiting at the cash register I told him I would take a bottle I pointed at and he said it is only for a raffle. I asked what do I need to do and he said buy from here and fill up the card and put it in the box.It's like he didn't want to sell anything. Never was greeted when I walked into the store or didn't offer any recommendations.I noticed several bottles that I buy at other stores in the area were priced much higher at this store.

We just moved to the area so we started going to Twins because it is in close proximity to our new place. We initially loved going here and I would say we almost became regular customers. The gentlemen who work at the store are AWESOME. Smile when they greet you, always down to give a good recommendation based on what you brought to the counter. Excellent customer service overall; however, today there was an older woman at the counter. We noticed immediately that she was watching us as we shopped. She did not greet us at the door. Even when we arrived at the counter, she did not greet us. She did not look at either of us in the eyes. She looked at our wallets. She did not ask for our IDs but the longer the silence went on, it became evident what she was asking for. So we pulled out our IDs, still no greeting. Still had not acknowledged us by looking at us. At this point my wife noted that this was definitely an odd experience compared to usual. To which, the woman stated that it was policy to check our IDs because we are in our 20s. She had clearly misunderstood that our frustration was not being asked for our IDs. In fact, every other time we've gone, we are IDed. It was her rude and dismissive demeanor that completely turned us off to going back. We would love to return once she is no longer employed there. The only reason I will give them two stars is because the rest of the staff is AWESOME. Very friendly and professional. I will happily change my review to a 5 star once we receive confirmation that the employee was dealt with.

Don't come here if you want to be cursed at for asking for help. I was cursed at by the cashier for asking for help on finding champagne. I've been here a few times without issues. Recently, I was having trouble with looking for champagne in the aisle the sign where it said it was. I asked the cashier (older gentleman, gray hair, with glasses) what would champagne look like (I don't drink that type of wine at all). He named off a few brands but he said he couldn't leave the register and help me look because he was the only one working the store that night.No problem, I told him I'll try and look for it again. I bring back a bottle and asked if this is what champagne looks like. It turns out it wasn't champagne, but he responds by saying "Jesus f**king Christ" under his breath, he said he would be over there in a minute to help me look, I responding telling him I'll meet him at the aisle and I'll keep looking. He shows me where they are at and walks back to the register. I pick a bottle and I come back to the register to get rung up. I told the cashier "I don't understand why you cursed under your breath when I showed the wrong bottle I was looking for." He says "I thought I made it clear what champagne looks like."I respond with "but you don't have to curse at me like that." He says " I didn't curse at you, have a great night." I saw he was affirming on what he said to me and he was dropping the conversation, so I left very upset. Again, don't come here.

This place was near where I work so I stopped by to see what they offer. As soon as I walked through the door an employee greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I ask for where their bourbon section was and he took me right to it. They had a nice selection of beer, wine and liquor for decent prices. Sale prices looked like great deals.

this is our closest liquor store, so we kind of go regardless, but i never feels very welcoming. It has a great selection of craft beer, which is the main draw for us, but its just a get in and get out kind of place. Usually the staff seem largely disinterested in serving you. I get it, we aren't trying to make friends, but it just seems like it lacks warmth.

If you want to feel uncomfortable and judged, twins is the place to go. My wife and I used to love to go here. Usually, the workers are very welcoming, and nice - ready to strike up a friendly conversation. Today was very different. As soon as we walked in, there was an older woman staring at us (obviously because we look young). When we walked up to check out she barely looked at us. No "hi how are you" or anything of the sort. She just looks down waiting for us to give her our ID's. She was so rude I actually had to make a comment to let her know that the way she was treating us was unacceptable. The other people she helped out received completely different treatment. I never write google reviews (literally, this is the first time I have ever) but this was just ridiculous. It's a shame because all of the other workers have been so kind. We will not be giving twins any more of our business, and I highly suggest none of you do either.

Mike and Beth are amazing! They are courtesy and helpful in finding the right spirits! This store has everything you can possibly need to fully your special occasion, dinner, or celebration! The selection of wines and liquors are the best I've ever seen!

Great place! Lots to choose from and staff is friendly. I found beer that I haven't found at other stores. I even got to mix and match a 6 pack.

This a great place. Good selection of wines, beers and liquors. Mike and Beth are awesome. Over the six years I have lived here they have become good friends. The service is quick and friendly and they are knowledgeable about the local products they carry. I have never gotten a bad recommendation
