Triple Nickel Tavern

Established downtown bar that been operating for 17 years. This place has cold beer, great & friendly service, an excellent kitchen, live music, occasional makers markets packed with fantastic local artist & makers, off-street parking, clean bathrooms, there's Pokémon gyms and stops near by, a very impressive vending machine with hilarious and unusual items, a pool table, pin ball, they play sports on TV but also have at least one screen with non-sports stuff playing. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends.

I give them five stars on Tuesdays. On Taco Tuesday an outside vendor comes in and sells tacos as a separate enterprise. Three for $5. I had the beef, two orders and one of the guys had vegetarian. Two sauces were presented, both excellent.The veggie taco had black-eyed peas as well as the rest of the taco fixings and was raved over.I'm thinking I probably would not be as pleased on a regular day, but I can only review for the time I went.Service is limited because there is just the one bartender taking care of everything, but the taco man brings the tacos to the table. Taco orders are placed at the counter or given by hand signal if sitting close enough. You will get your drinks faster if you go to bar, but he will come around if you are patient enough.

This a bar was completely empty on a Saturday night! The bar tender who also happens to be the owner (well son of the actual owner) seemed put out that we came in and was a total jerk and even closed the bar early(1:30). Speaking as a native, if you want good vibes and a fun time DO NOT GO HERE.

Couldn't ask for a better bar to visit when in Colorado Springs...even if you aren't a Steelers fan.

Girl bartender with the light brown hair was incredibly rude, drinks tasted watered down.

When questioned regarding the lack of advertising regarding price increase. Staff stated the owner posted it on his private Facebook page five days earlier. Instead of doing the right thing and stating due to oversight please come get the ticket for $15. Proceeded to update everything post morten. Posted review regarding event on facebook and multiple patrons and staff members were rude with profanity laced responses to my unfortunate interaction. Skip this place and try another.

Stopped in while visiting from out of state..I had seen this place on Bar Rescue several years ago...What a dump!Service was terrible, drinks were horrific, and the bar itself was fairly rundown.....

Great food! I already knew I liked the Dive Bar atmosphere, but I can't believe I waited so long to eat here. There's a lot on the menu, and the Asian tacos are amazing!

The bartender was quick to get our drinks and was real friendly. He talked with us for a while but didn't make anyone else wait for their drinks either. We had seen this place on Bar Rescue, so we had to go in while we were in town. It's a small place. I felt at home while I was there. I would recommend the 555 to anyone
