Best tortillas in town its a small store front snacks and canned goods but in the back of the store it's a tortilla factory I was looking for medium sized tortillas all I found were large and small I asked a lady working in the back she was hand rolling the masa balls she brought out a bakers rack with medium sized tortillas fresh from the back you can't go wrong with a place like this very highly recommended

I stopped in to see what Tortilleria La Amapola sold as I was in the market for tortilla chips and shells for a Super Bowl party this weekend. They have fresh chips that are truly fantastic and salsas that are good enough to change my menu for our party to just be a nacho bar because they don't have the hard shells I was initially looking for. They cook and process their corn on site so everything is super fresh and delicious. Carlos was really spectacular, he let me, try chips, salsas and even sent me home with some for my husband to try. So my order is in and I will be picking up my fresh chips this afternoon. I'll be sure to take photos of the rest of the shop then as well. I did notice they have a small refrigerated section with fresh veggies and drinks. Also a section of dried herbs and spices.

Pretty fair tortillas. Little puffy but good quality. Very fresh and tasty. Will go back.

The corn and flour tortillas are ALWAYS fresh! They are some of the best tortillas. Corn tortillas aren't dry and hold up in all dishes really well. Prices are reasonable. I won't buy any other tortilla. :-)

Aqui dice que cierran a las 7:00pm. Yo llegue 6:52pm y el senor grosero de la caja ya no me dejo entrar. Cuando le dije que porque no podia pasar me dijo ya cerramos y me cerro la puerta en la cara. Asi no es como deben tratar a sus clientes. Deberian actualizar su horario. Si cierran 10 minutos antes deben dejarle saber eso al publico. Yo venia apurada recien saliendo del trabajo contando que aun tenia 10 minutos y me tope con el senor grosero ese. Cambien sus horarios y al senor grosero que tienen de cajero que no sabe tratar ala gente siempre tiene cara de que lo tienen ahi de gratis o como si uno fuera a pedirle fiado. Muy mal servicio de el.

If you like totillas this place makes them homemade. Gold mine. My family loves them and not expenise per dozej.

I went here for masa for tamales because the place I usually go to was sold out. I'm so glad I did. The masa here was fresh tasting and tamales came out even better. La Amapola prices were even cheaper than my old place. This is my number 1 go to place for fresh masa and tortillas!
