Top Dollar Pawn

Worst customer service ever. I went there to sell my HP laptop. I asked them, "are you taking laptops?" and was told, "yes we are" I was then told I could get 150 dollars for my laptop. Very happy that they could help me sell my laptop, I turned to my husband and stated, "I'm so glad these guys could help us sell our laptop. It saves us from having to go to more places trying to look for someone to buy it since the last four places didn't work." The employee then turned confused to me and said, "You wanted to Sell this?" I said, "Yes, that's why I came in here asking if you took laptops." She then said, "Oh, I rang it up as a pawn. No, we do not buy laptops." I then asked them, "Why did you tell me you would take my laptop if you were just able to pawn it?" Another employee hears this and then tells me, "I can't have you sell us this laptop. I'm going to have to void the sale." I said, "Then fine. I will just pawn it for the money." I was told, "you can't pawn it for the money after you ask to sell something. It's against company policy." I then replied with, "I wish you would have clarified with me first then because now this has been a waste of time for me." They reluctantly still ran the laptop as a loan and gave me the money while stating, "As a one time courtesy, we will give you the money next time. Just remember that we don't normally do this." They never asked me if I wanted to pawn it or sell it. They gave me attitude after they messed up and said they couldn't fix their mistake because I asked to sell it and they rang it up as a pawn. I would not go to this top dollar. If you have to go to the top dollar pawn, go to Highway 50. They have better customer service and they clarify with you without the attitude you would see at this one. Overall, sucky performance.

This is the best manager of a pawn shop in town. Thank you Roslyn! VERY FAIR and VERY HONEST. The negative reviews are most likely the result of inexperienced employees with no basic concept of how to perform with customers. Had they gone to the manager and asked what to do, I am CERTAIN that she would have told them the correct way to deal with customers, whether they were pawning, selling, or buying. There are a couple of other fairly good shops in Pueblo, my own experience here will induce me to go to THIS pawn shop FIRST, whenever I am shopping or pawning. ( Happily, I've not needed to pawn anything for quite some time, but if I did, I would ABSOLUTELY go to this shop FIRST! ) Thanks again!!!

We called in advance to see if our surround sound system was good enough to sell, woman on the phone said "as long as it works, and everything is with it, we'll consider buying". Staff is lazy and was playing around and eating jellybeans when we entered the store. Rude attitude towards us when we walked up to the counter. Got told our equipment is a scam and they can't buy it, nobody even looked inside the box or checked it out. Just because other people have fakes, doesn't mean we're selling you a fake. Do your fucking job and look at the product someone is selling you, don't call them a scammer and say you can't do anything. We BOUGHT our surround sound in A STORE in Kansas before we moved here last year. How did we buy a fake system from Walmart? You'll never have my family and friends service. Place is terrible towards people needing extra money during a fucking pandemic.

My friend and I are jewelry collectors and we saw this place was open. Waited 25 minutes in the sun before allowed to go in (totally fine, not the issue) but the woman working inside kept telling us we have to hurry and get out so they could do business. We told her several times we were there to purchase. WE ARE THE BUSINESS! But she continued making snide rude remarks about how we need to hurry and leave. So we left without buying anything because she was so awful. How do you expect to sell anything with that attitude? Ridiculous. Take your money somewhere else.

Horrible service, very rude staff. When I went to pick up my rifle out of pawn it was missing a major internal component that I know was in place before I took it to the pawn shop. These people are crooks, if you value your property and self respect, PLEASE choose another place. dont let these people treat you and your belongings like garbage all while attempting to sell you garbage. I will never do business with this establishment ever again or any of its branches. Then the manager wants to threaten me with legal action of I give them a bad review. Well heres the bad review anyway, I dont give in to bully tactics.

Overall good experience. Friendly staff , seem to give more of the value of an item than other pawn shops
