I came in for my lunch hour, i was immediately seated at a table. My server gave me a water and miso soup as soon as i sat down. i knew what i wanted to order but i waited until they were ready for me. The miso soup was pretty good, but it's hard to mess up miso. I ordered the kyoto shoju ramen with beef. it took maybe 20 mins for my order to arrive. I tried the broth first as i always do, it was alright. I tried the beef and it had no flavor, overcooked to a crisp and added nothing to the ramen. disappointed, i still finished my food. the eggs were okay but i had my hopes a little high based on reviews i read. Regardless I enjoyed the vibe and decor of the restaurant. The service was attentive. I won't be returning for the ramen although.

When I went to pick up my order I asked for unagi sauce and was SCOLDED by the clerk because there was a charge for it (25¢). I said I would be happy to pay for it now and the girl said, still with an attitude, "no, just so you know next time there is a charge."I said I get sauce all the time with my order and she said well now there's a charge. So she's getting all pissy because I was getting a free sauce (about 2 oz.) on a $60 order, and I offered to pay for it right there! And she lost the $12 tip I was going to leave. I got home and checked their site and there was nothing about there being a charge for sauce. I went to place another sample online order just to see, and again, there was no option to order or pay for sauce, which is why I always had to ask for it when I got there. I think this place needs to get its priorities in order. Do you want the 25¢ for the sauce, which costs you 4¢, or do you want me to continue placing $60 and $80 orders 4 or 5 times a month, like I do now? Times however many other customers you piss off with this pettiness.

Been here multiple time. Even on a couple of dates. The flavored Saki selection is really good. Sushi has always been really good. I've had fresh seafood and sushi in Alaska and Hawaii, so it's hard to compare, but for Colorado, Tomo is definitely one of my favorite so far.
