Service was super quick and fast. We told our waitress that we were with Aspire tours and we had our food out in about 5-7 mins. We only got 45 mins to roam. The green chili fries were so good. Not too spicy but super flavorful. Next time I would just get the chili on top of the fries I asked for it on the side because I didn't know how spicy it was going to be. The giant pretzel was amazing. Super soft and the cheese was superb. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

If you're passing through the area, Tommy Knocker's is a must stop! It's located in downtown Idaho Springs. The inside is beautiful but we chose to sit outside under the tent with our pups. Our group sampled many of their delicious beers with our favorite being the blood orange IPA. We enjoyed some giant burgers. Our server was super friendly and helpful. And, they even had a dog menu for our pups to enjoy!

We came in after a day at the Georgetown Loop & Silver Mine. The root beer is delicious. We had dinedat TKB on a previous visit to Idaho Springs and had a wonderful experience, so we were excited to visit again. So why 3 stars? Our service was terrible. We sat and waited 10 minutes before our server, Sean, came and brought water to the table. He did not greet or welcome us in, his interactions were very short. He took our drink order and it took him another 10 minutes to return with our 3 rootbeers. We placed our food order and he seemed to have an attitude with any special requests (sauce on the side, no tomato, etc) a lot of hard sighs and "hold on a minute I have to put all this in." Another server brought out food to us. After looking at his sandwich, my husband needed extra bar-be-que sauce, we waited for a 5 or more minutes, hoping Sean would come by, finally I got up and asked a man who was bussing a nearby table if we could get some, he gladly obliged. We had wrapped up our meal and were waiting for the check, *cue the crickets* no server. I got up and asked a female manager if we could get our check. About 5 minutes after that, Sean came to our table, and was suddenly friendly and talkative. Sean brought us boxes quickly we paid our bill and left. My husband had the burnt ends sandwich and it was good, not great. He needed extra bar-be-que sauce. I had the Ol' Smokey Cheesesteak Dip and the meat was tender and flavorful. I asked for the pimento cheese sauce on the side as I was not sure if I would like it. My only frame of reference for pimento cheese was from a tiny glass jar in my grandma's fridge. It was delicious and I ended up adding it. My son had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was nothing special. We ordered a Mount Blue Sky Lemonade. It was tasty but the little blueberries in the bottom of the glass kept getting stuck in the straw. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and it is in a quaint historic district. On a side note, we did notice as we were leaving we saw that Sean was waiting on customers who were seated outside, we were inside, so perhaps the issue was short staffing, or a management issue. One final note, when I visited the restroom, on the back of the door was a sign stating that a 4% charge would be added to each tab. Just increase your prices and be transparent about it, we get that prices have gone up, just let your customers know what is going on. I did not see this message about this charge anywhere on the menu or on the table, just on the back of the women's restroom door.

Wow, this place was amazing--perfect after a day of skiing at Loveland! I had the Western Bacon burger, and it was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The pear cider was delicious too. Tried the poutine, which wasn't my favorite; it was spicier than expected. Our waitress was super attentive and kind. Great spot overall!

We had a really hard time picking a spot for lunch in Idaho Springs. But I think he picked a good one! There was a wait, it was busy, but the bar is big and we were able to grab one of the many open spots at the bar. This place is cozy, yet lively. We tried a few beers before deciding and really enjoyed our picks. We also had a hard time deciding on our entree choices. But also enjoyed what we chose. I would come here again if I were in the area! PS- don't forget to pay for parking and write the liscense plate correctly.

We stopped in for a few drinks after a day of hiking. Great selections, even with NA beers. The root beer float is delicious. The bartenders are friendly & knowledgeable. Service is fast. We love the couch by their fireplace. Super cozy. They're also one of the most dog friendly breweries.

While checking out Mount Blue Sky, we stopped in Idaho Springs for lunch at the Tommyknocker Brewery. Great decision! Busy even at a late lunch hour, service was still on top of it and took the time to discuss all the options with us. My husband of course had a strong dark Black Powder Stout beer, and I tried a local Glider cider on draft, which kind of feels like I am having a beer too. He was thrilled because he has tried the Tommyknocker stout at our local ice rink in Phoenix, and now was able to enjoy it directly at the brewery! He ordered the western bacon burger with fries , choosing the traditional beef and pepper jack cheese. It was devoured. I ordered the claim jumper burger with a buffalo patty, lettuce wrapped with sweet potato fries and ranch. I enjoyed the gamey flavor of the buffalo and it took me back to when my dad used to buy buffalo burgers at the Bashas grocery in Tempe for us as kids. Fries were top notch, white or sweet potatoes, they have the formula. We left full and happy!
